This was the first piece of furniture that I have purchased from Overstock. The table is nice, solid oak. The chairs came fully assembled. The table top was easy to attach to the base. It took me longer to get everything out of the box than it did to assemble. Easy, easy, easy!

Excellent quality. Only assembly required was attaching table legs into table top. Packaged well to avoid damage. Matches what you see in the picture. Solid oak resists denting. Can easily seat five without any leaves using a small folding chair in addition to the chairs provided.

This was my first major purchase with Overstock. I was very pleased with everything. It shipped in less time than it said and the shipping Co. was very nice. The chairs were already assembled and just had to screw the top on the base of the table, which was very easy. I was worried that the chairs would be uncomfortable... not being able to test drive them before purchase, but they are EXTREMELY comfortable and the leather is super soft. Solid construction and the finish is very close to the picture. The 2 leaves are very heavy and the table slides pretty easy to get them in (would still need 2 people to do it). Took me a long time to find a smaller pedestal table with 2 leaves in a mission style and not pay over $2000, I am very happy!

Beautifully made -- exactly as pictured and very easy to assemble. Much higher quality than what you would get in a furniture store for the same price. Came packaged extremely well to avoid any marks or dents. The chairs are very comfortable!!

This was my first online purchase of such a large item. The furniture is gorgeous, even better than pictured! All pieces came in excellent condition. The assembly screws of the table were missing, but customer service was more than helpful in sending it to us very quickly . This was a wonderful experience, and I hope this review helps anyone who might be apprehensive.

I just love this dining set-- it is exactly what I wanted. The price is great as I have checked other oak dining sets. The shipping service was excellent. They even put the extra leaves in to make sure they worked properly. I needed a smaller set that can be enlarged for holidays and company, and this set is ideal.

Solid construction, well finished and chairs are comfortable. Price has increased since I bought 8/10, but it is a nice looking and functional set with surprisingly good build quality. Delivery was good.

We are so pleased with both the quality of our dining set and with the delivery. The oak is solid, a great color, and very similar to the pictures. The chairs are beautiful, comfortable and have a nice burgundy leather seat. There are gliders under both the table post and under the chair legs that protect your flooring and allow for ease in movement. Everything arrived in excellent condition and the delivery was smooth and easy, arriving in about 2 1/2 weeks from order date. We were nervous ordering from Overstock.com, as it was our first purchase from them, but we are so happy with it that we would definitely order from them again and are recommending Overstock to all of our friends.

I was very impatient and it did take 6 weeks for this set to be delivered. It came today and I have to say, given the low Overstock price, it was worth the wait. It is perfect. Not a scratch on it. The graining is beautiful and just as previewed in the pictures. The leather seats are not the red that shows up in the pictures, but are a nice burgundy, which is perfect for me. At this price, if you can't use burgundy, it would be a cinch to recover the seats. This is worth more than what I paid and I'm thrilled. If you are thinking of getting this set and need it for the coming Fall holidays, get started now! You won't be sorry. Thanks, Overstock!

When I first purchased this set, I was so excited and happy and believed it was "solid" oak. It is oak indeed but the table is made of dozens of strips of wood that have been glued together. After just 8 months of use (we didnt assemble it right away as it was delivered to a new home we were yet to move in to) some of the strips are separating and are beginning to bubble at the seams. Also, one of the clamps to secure the leaves together broke right off in our hands while we were adding the leaf. It is a beautiful piece of furniture but it is cheaply made and too expensive for the quality.

The table arrived this morning. LOVE the 'white glove delivery.' They brought it in, unwrapped each piece and assembled it. FIrst they put the leaves in so I could see it...then I had them removed. Immediately, they wrapped them in bubble wrap and taped the edges. However, word to the wise...don't wrap wood in plastic...moisture gets under the plastic, can't evaporate, and then you have warping! Needless to say I rewrapped the leaves in cloth. The set is VERY HEAVY. Chairs are comfortable and the leather seats are more on the brownish-wine color...which is perfect for me! ONE small issue though. There are tiny 'slash' marks on the chairs. However, after rubbing in Old English Dark Oil...they're almost invisable. This set is well worth the money!!! In fact when it was out of stock here, I went to another website and found the EXACT...I mean EXACT same thing...even the pictures were IDENTICAL. What wasn't the same was the price. It was on sale for $2800+...down from $3200ish. If you want a well built, lovely mission dining set...this is it!

I ordered the 6-piece set that included the small sideboard plus 2 additional chairs with a great deal of trepidation, having never ordered such a large ticket item sight-unseen over the internet. Without any hesitation I would say I have not been disappointed. The furniture absolutely exceeded my expectations in terms of look and quality. I have yet to see a flaw in any of the pieces in terms of finish or construction, and even the hardware on the sideboard doors, hinges or slides reflects quality. The color for the most part is accurate online, although it may be a slightly deeper reddish tone than what appeared to me as a lighter more yellowish tone. It truly is solid oak construction and each piece is solid and heavy. I of course cannot guarantee no one would receive a flawed piece of furniture but if you're on the fence, I for one am ecstatic I took the leap and would highly recommend this furniture set.

This is a very nice dining set. We have had it over a year and are very pleased. The leather is good quality and the chairs are heavy and very sturdy. This is our only dining set so it gets a lot of use.

We loved our new table and chairs at first. What little assembly required was easy, even for us. However, we only used the basic table until the holidays, when we put both leaves in. By the end of the 2 week period we had them in, one leaf has a crack on the edge. We did not do any dancing on the table or put heavy items on it. Just basic dinner settings. Also, now that we have removed the leaves, the center will no longer close completely and there is a small gap.

This set is absolutely beautiful. It is solid oak, well made, and will last a lifetime. It looks exactly as it appears on the web site (reddish oak). I have an office set I purchased from Restoration Hardware and I am confident this is the same wood and manufacturer. I absolutely love it.

The table and chairs look exactly like the picture and are really beautiful. The price is great I saw the same set in a popular furniture store for more than double the price. Assembly was just the table to the pedestal the chairs were full assembled. It was very well packed and arrived flawless.

After looking at numerous dining sets in stores, we took a gamble on this one. You're never sure abt what condition, quality, etc it's going to show up in, but this paid off.Well packed, quickly shipped, and you just have to put the table top on.We love it.
