Broken piece in box, had to glue back together, some pilot holes not drilled, some holes not lined up with screws, super frustrating. Not worth the money paid, would pay $200 for it b/c its real hardwood and looks awesome.

Now that it is fully assembled and my flat screen is sitting on top of it, it does look nice. I read all the reviews and knew what I was getting into. Taking it out of the box my husband found that 2 brace parts were broken. He glued and screwed those. It took 3 hours for my very handy husband and his friend to put this together. One door was sprung so it does not shut quite right. The finish had some dings but a black felt pen fixed those. We looked around alot before buying this piece...for the money and the almost free shipping, it fit our budget and the overall effect is nice. Did not call the company for replacement parts because this thing would be sitting in my living room all tore apart for a few days. Our electronic equipment fits the shelves and the glass doors add a little class. It does take some effort to put this together so beware.

I am so disappointed in this purchase. I was very excited to get my tv stand only to be very unpleasantly surprised. Upon opening the box loose screws and hinges fell out. As we took each piece out they were all damaged. There were pieces with hinges coming undone due to stripped screws that left big holes in the cheap particle board. The entire back part of the stand was scratched and even had a huge dent from one of the hinges it was laying against. At that point I had seen enough and we did not even take out the remaining parts. The stand is not all hardwood as it states. It is packaged very badly and did not stand a chance to make it in good condition. It is too bad because it is a beaufiful rich color that would have good great with my other furniture. Do not waste your time!!!!!

I love the look of the TV stand--the glass doors are modern and it is sleek looking. It has space for our cable box, dvd player, and a basket to hold extras. I love that aspect of it! But, when we received our box, we opened it up and the nuts, bolts, etc. were everywhere--all over the box! Not even in individual boxes. Not to mention, the table took us up to 3 hours of assembly. It still isn't perfectly assembled, we couldn't get all the screws to go in. Needless to say, if all of the items on overstock are this difficult to assemble, we won't be buying from here again.

I was so impressed. The hinges in the sides/middle made this super easy to assemble. It's absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations! I was a little worried when the box was damaged in shipment but all the pieces were there and it set up very fast.

Media stand arrived in a timely fashion. The hardware and silica packets opened in transit. Loose hardware scratched the surface of several wooden surfaces. Since it wasn't clear if scratches happened before or during our pulling them out, we did not return it. Silica spilled all over the living room and was quite a mess to deal with. The frame of the stand opens like an accordian and the screws from several of the internal hinges fell out during transit and the wood around many of the hinges was cracked. Some of the screws in the internal hinges would not tighten when they were put back in. This meant that the frame did not fully square up with the predrilled holes in the top. It took about 24 hours to adjust the bottom support planks to the proper state of loosening/tightening in order to finally get most of the predrilled holes in the frame and top to match up. Even then one of the bolts would not go in as they didn't even come close to matching up. One of the door pulls on the cabinet would not accept the supplied screw and I had to find one from my own supply to attach the pull. After the nightmare of putting it together, it does look good but I must admit that I worry about its longevity given the internal cracks and loose hinges.

This is a heavy piece of furniture and is the right size I've been looking for. I've recently purchased a 40" HDTV and it fits nicely on this 60" TV stand. The center compartment is 24" wide and is perfect for my blueray player. The unit was shipped on time with no damage, and all hardware was in the box. I'd buy it again.

I would not recommend this TV stand to a friend. We took a chance on ordering it without any other reviews available. Poor quality included: stripped hinge screws, bent hinges, dull grey sheen on the painted surface. We had only taken one piece out and found all those problems. I contacted Overstock Customer Service immediately and requested a return/refund and within minutes that was in process. Bad tv stand, good customer service.

I just bought this stand the other day and completed the assembly in a few hours. It is an absolute sturdy stand if it is assembled properly. The directions to assemble it are clear. The stand is pretty heavy once it is fully assembled. The color of the stand is nice and it's what I wanted. We love the way it looks.
