I purchased this Patio Set last season along with the Extended Warranty. From reading the product description, I was excited since it would be able to handle weathering, etc. False, this will be the patio set's second session and I will be putting it at the end of my driveway with a "FREE" sign on it. The wood can't even hold up to the rain, it's all rotted and black, the table has shed this odd wood skin and the chairs are not smooth anymore, they are very splintery! I contacted Overstock immediately when I noticed that it was not standing up to the weather. The referred me to the extended warranty company. I filled out ALL the paperwork, (4) copies of each sheet and submitted them, they told me the warranty did not cover the weathering. SO...if you purchase anything from Overstock.com, do not waste your money on the extened warranty, it does not cover anything! I was so angry that I contaced Overstock.com's Customer Service and they just gave me an, "nothing we can do..." I will not shop from Overstock.com again and I told them that...I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Not worth the savings. After just a couple of months out on my terrace each plank on the table's surface is warping, some are cracking and splintering. The wood peels easily and overall just does not stay together well. I thought I was savings some money by not getting teak, but in the end this table is probably not going to make it through much more than one season. Maybe two, but it will look pretty rough by then. The chairs are holding together reasonably well, but suffer some of the same problems too. Just spend the extra cash and get something that will look good and hold up for a while. It will end up saving you more in the long run.

This is a well constructed patio set. The chairs are uncomfortable but with cushions, they are quite comfortable. I have received some nice compliments on the set and it has brightened up our patio, especially with the flowery cushions on the chairs.
