Very Quiet
Great fan, very quiet, compared to others I have owned over the years. The instructions were not simple to follow, some parts came assembled even though they were not pictured that way. Missing 2 parts, rubber legs on bottom of pedestal, sat fine without them, also the setting piece for the remote, very important if you have multiple remote operated fans in house. It worked fine without these parts, very heavy, well made fan for being made in China, would get another one but from a store where I could purchase these missing parts from or take the fan back if needed.

- Did the description onsite accurately describe the product? Pretty good, except for height of fan, shorter than expected

The fan is cheaper than the picture discription
The fan was not easy to install. The fan blades are actually wood, painted to look like metal. It's working fine, but not sure how long it will last.

Quiet, attractive & sturdy but needs on/off switch
This fan has one significant flaw - it does not have an on/off switch other than the remote control that came with it. The problem is, the remote control has the same code as one of my ceiling fans in a different part of my house. The manual says that there's a dip switch to change the code, but when I opened up the cover to change the code there was no DIP switch where the manual showed it would be. It's very frustrating when two people are controlling two fans at the same time from different rooms. Otherwise, it's a nice, quiet, attractive fan.
