My husband and I have been searching for the right chair to match our hazelnut colored couch. The chair that we found in a local store that was comparable to this one (just slightly bigger) was going to be over $1,000. It is hard to find a regular sized chair and ottoman since they make so many oversized/chair and a halfs now. We took a chance and ordered this although we were skeptical about the color - it seemed to have a pinkish/peach hue on the screen. The picture of just the material (middle picture) is the most accurate of all three. There is nothing pink or peach about this chair and the pictures do not depict it accurately. The primary colors are beautiful and are a rust, dark maroon, dark green, gold, tan. The quality is very good and seems well made. The back of the chair is lower than I expected, but suits us fine. My husband is a large guy and can sit comfortably in the chair. The seat is firm and kind of bouncy and is attached. I feel like you almost sit a little higher than the ottoman. Overall, this is an excellent deal and well worth the money. You cannot come close to this in any store around. Ours arrived within one week of ordering. Great purchase - go for it!

Purchased this chair because of style, pattern, fabric, cost and reviews! Was not disappointed, I would agree with other reviewers that yes its firm but over time and wear it will become more comfortable. Only wish that the height of back was maybe 4 inches higher so i could lean head back on it. And mentioning back have spinal problems and this chair is firm enough for me to be comfortable. Thanks for a great purchase!! Hope the same for my other purchases!!

after looking both at furniture stores in town, and searching on the web, I found the perfect chair here at Overstock. I had priced out a similar chair/ottoman combination in a paisley print at a local store and would have paid more than double the price as it would have been special order, etc. As one of the other reviewers noted it is a "mama bear" size chair, and I would totally agree. The size fits me to a T. I can sit and do needlework, read, or watch TV very comfortably in it. I have even "dozed off" in it! I would recommend it highly. The colors are beautiful, the fabric seems quite thick, and the construction well put together. All in all a great find!

I bought a pair these to fill in a 'hole' created in a fairly large room filled with leather and other rustic furniture. The rich, warm hues of the fabric are perfect, primarily jewel-toned reds, greens and golds. They came extremely well packed and only required the little 'feet' be attached. I'm giving four instead of five stars for the following reasons: a) I had to trim threads all around the seams. No big, but really....and b) I wish I could tighten the feet a little more without fear of stripping the bolts. They're a little wobbly, not really noticeable to anyone but me, but I still wish I could tighten them more. Overall a very good buy, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for reasonably priced, comfortable chairs to go with browns, golds, etc.

I expected the chair and ottoman to be nice. I expected the color to be exactly what I wanted. I can honestly say that the chair and ottoman exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm very pleased. I bought the chair and ottoman for my husband and he is also very happy. I am pleased with the way it looks and the quality. My husband is pleased with the quality and comfort. He even likes how nice it looks and that says a lot.

The chair is a great value. it is hard to find a chair and ottoman for under $****. The fabric isn't what I expected. I wish it was a cotton. The burgandy is very faint. It is mostly sienna and gold. It will work in my bedroom but would have loved it to be more red.

We purchased this chair and ottoman to compliment a family room that is gradually being re-done. The size of the chair and color/pattern were a good fit and overall it looks good for what we wanted it. Having said that, I found the quality of the fabric to be only acceptable and thought the workmanship on the ottoman's covering was a little off. The chair is surprising light ( a plus) and is quite comfortable. It's not at all slouchy. If you are looking for a value option with a good look this chair will do the trick.

Love this chair. Very comfortable and looks great. I've just ordered another one!

This is a beautiful set, but my cats have destroyed it - the fabric frays VERY easily. I would only recommend it for those without cats =^..^=

Mira 8-way hand tied paisley chair and ottoman. These are beautiful chairs. The picture of the chair itself is very misleading. As other reviewers have stated, go by the picture of the fabric swatch. The color of these chairs remind me of Autumn.. Golds, oranges, burgundies and greens with a slight sheen to the fabric. This is a smaller scale chair but my 5' 10" husband fits in it quite nicely. The cushions are perfect. Not too soft, not too stiff. The only draw back is that the back of the chair is not that high so there is no neck support. All in all, these chairs exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend them!

Love this set SO MUCH! I had just had my couch recovered, and took a risk based on the picture that this set would match. It does. Everyone is SHOCKED when they ask where I got it and I tell them from O!

This is a GREAT value for a really good chair. It is a heavy and sturdy chair. Colors are really intense and nice. Fabric seems much thicker than I expected - it's not a cottony chintz, but more of a thicker poly blend. Vacuumed off well when I spilled chips on it! Ha! I shopped all the stores, and this is as good or better than the XXXXX/XXXXX type club chairs - PLUS it has a great ottoman. This is a super value and even better in person.

We love our new comfy chair and ottoman. It arrived super quickly and was easy to assemble. Everyone comes in and 'wows' it! The paisley colors are rich and sumptuous and the whole effect gives a real sense of classic style to our room. Also, it complements our other plain sage and beige sofas perfectly. I was nervous about buying furniture on line, but will certainly shop here again. This was a real bargain.

Beautiful chair, colors appear much more subdued in low light, but you can still see pattern. BUT, this is a chair you sit ON, not IN. The seat cushion is so firm that you sit upright, no slouching. If you're looking for a reading and TV chair, this isn't it. If you want to knit, it's good. My friend with a bad back wants to buy it from me because it firmly supports her back. And, people view it and say "what a nice chair". However, I wouldn't have bought it if I had sat in in first.

I originally bought this chair for our family room. I ended up putting it in our bedroom instead because it is smaller overall and fits perfectly in a bedroom. The colors are as described and very vivid. Other reviewers said the seat was a bit hard and that is true. It does soften up a bit after several sittings but it is a firm rather than cushy chair. It arrives in a very big and bulky box with the legs off. You need someone to help you get it out of the box, and then installing the legs is a breeze and your chair is ready to go. Excellent value and I'm very pleased with my choice.

This chair is absolutely beautiful! I was debating for about 2 weeks before purchasing. I am so glad I finally made the purchase! Just the right size and the material is stunning. I bought this chair as an accent chair to a chocolate brown sectional that I also bought on Overstock. It works great! I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase. I know I love it. Shipping was super quick and delivered right to my door by the UPS person. Highly Recommend this chair.

I purchased two of these chairs with ottoman. Contrary to the description the chair is about 33 inches hight (at the back) with the feet attached, the seat is 19 inches hight with the feet attached. I'm 5'10" and the back of the chair (sitting) comes to about my shoulders. The cushion is comfortable enough but very firm and is attached to the chair. If you like a chair you can 'sink into' you will not like this chair. The appearance of the chair and ottoman is great. The colors are a mixture of muted brown, red, a touch of orange, gold, moss green with a paisley pattern. The ottoman is rounded on the top and also firm. As previously noted by another reviewer, this is a 'low' chair that doesn't look huge and fits perfectly in medium sized rooms. Assembly was easy because I only had to screw in the wood feet. The chairs came in big cardboard boxes with no packing material inside. The chairs did have minor imperfections like hanging threads but nothing I couldn't remedy. All in all, this is a great looking chair/ottoman.

The seat is smaller than a double and a half chair but nice, especially for the value! I love it! Someone overwheight would not be comfortable in it but your average person will enjoy. I had a hard time getting one leg to twist in well but everything else went in great. Packaged very nice and looks great! Perfect for what I was looking for! It matches my burgendy leather purfectly!!!!!! I am very pleased!

But be prepared - it's HEAVY. I think around 90 lbs. Getting it in my house by myself was interesting. Love the chair though. It's very "rich" looking. Assembly consisted of screwing on the legs. My only complaint would be that the chair's cushion isn't removable.

What a terrific chair and ottoman for the price! I had an empty corner in my offifce and this is perfect. Colors are rich, fabric is lovely. Chair is medium to firm soft but comfy. This is a low profile chair so while it fits me just fine (5'1") I fear my husband would look a tad silly in it (6'4"). But it's perfect for what I needed and if I had room, I'd buy another. Assembly was--attach chair and ottoman feet. Easy. My cat even likes it.
