I purchased it with the intent to paint it so although the color is not very good that doesn't really bother me. After adding custom chandelier shades and a can of spray paint I really think it was worth the purchase price.

Looks OK
from Philadelphia, pa,  Aug 4, 2010

I am using this in my 4 year old daughter's room. It is OK. I bought some glass bead necklaces from the art store and draped them from it to dress it up. Looks cute, for the price. Not too easy to install. Took my husband a little while to figure out. I wouldn't purchase this for an entry way or anywhere else that is a major focal point in your home, but for my daughter's "princesss" room it is doing the job.

White Chandelier
from Modesto, CA,  May 24, 2010

Looks wonderful in my entry, price was right and it arrived quickly. I did have to do a little electrical wiring since I wanted it to be able to turn on with a light switch instead of plugging it in to an outlet, but after the slight modification it works and looks wonderful.

Love this Chandelier! Very unique and nice price. Easy to install, my husband and I did it ourselves. Nice addition to my shabby chic guest room.

Good Light
from Denver, CO,  Apr 2, 2010

The chandelier was cute and could be hardwired or plugged in, except if you hardwire it, then it still has the little pull cord. I thought that was kind of weird, and you can't make it very low if you hardwire it. But it's cute, don't forget to get shades for it, because those aren't included!

Cute
 from NC,  Mar 27, 2010

Cute chandelier, but somehow I missed that these come with a regular outlet plug that needs to be cut and adapted for installation. I bought one for each of my girl's rooms. They are priced low, but better than I expected for the price.

Great Buy!
from Cape Coral, Florida,  Jan 13, 2010

The light looks even better in person. It is so adorable, and looks beautiful in my daughter's room. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone looking to put a little vintage character into a room. assembly was a breeze. Great item, and even better price!

chandelier
from North Dakota,  Dec 16, 2009

I like this chandelier a lot for the money. I am using it in my little girl's bedroom. I didn't care for the color, it is more of an almond color, but I had intended on spray painting it anyway.

Love it. It is cream, but in my teen's tiny room with grey walls it looks brighter. It casts a beautiful pattern on the walls and ceiling. Husband hardwired it easily. She hangs beads and pearls on it and it's precious. It is a cheap cast metal but makes up for that with a lot of personality.

Can Find Better
from Paramus NJ,  Dec 2, 2009

I was looking to buy a replacement chandelier for my daughter's room to help sell our house. This was not a good choice as it is made to plug in. Granted, it is cheap, but it is not attractive and needed to be adapted prior to installing it in a celing. It is sufficient if you want to plug it in somewhere, but that is about it.

Mrs.
 from MD,  Nov 22, 2009

The option of having the light "hard wired" or to "plug into the wall" (with a pull chain on/off way of operating) was fantastic. More than ample electrical cord was included and quite heavy duty at that. The option, also of using a 40 watt candelabra bulb and use with small shades (not included) or use 60 watt candelabra bulbs instead. I love the color and also the realy cute vine/leaf accents on the candelabra.I JUST LOVE IT!!! The price was very, very reasonable. My husband found it very easy to install - we hard-wired ours into the ceiling. Also, lots of options as to how high or low you wanted the light to hang. We used it at our new condo in the downstairs bathroom to "kick-up-a-notch" the room.I LOVE IT! Thank you!

Nice light
from Ellicott City, MD,  Sep 9, 2009

As other reviewers have indicated, the chandelier is definitely closer to beige than white, but that worked out fine for us. The light is very pretty and just the right size for my daughter's bedroom.

Tan Really, Not White At All
 from NC,  Aug 9, 2009

This is a beautiful chandelier. It was very involved to put up, because we wanted it to be hung directly from the ceiling.....not plugged into an outlet on the wall and strewn up the wall, across the ceiling! Wish I'd had known this. My dad ending up putting this up, he's done a good bit of electrical work over his lifetime. Although, I'd say the average person is going to want a professional to hang this particular model for them. Very pretty, small, unique and creamy tan in color. I needed it to be more white, but the tan will work if I incorporate some other tan items into this room!

great
from North Texas,  Jun 17, 2009

It arrived saturday night and was as pictured except as another reviewer noted the color was more of an almond than antique white. A spraycan of Rustoleum fixed that pretty easily. I have a white wrought iron panel with roses and leaves dividing the living room form the entry way and the leaf and vine motif of the lamp complements that. nicely.

Very nice little chandelier
 from IL,  Jun 1, 2009

We bought this mini chandelier for a window seat nook in my soon to be 10 year old daughter's room. It looks fabulous! She went with a semi-retro polka dot look, mainly teal with nature inspired accents. This fit the bill perfectly with the leaves in the design, and the funky curve to the main stem. Gives off great light in the space. The only thing I didn't like about it is the color. It's more yellow tinged than I'd call "antique white", and with white accents and ceiling color in the room it looks a bit too yellow. We plan on painting it white to match her room better. Shouldn't take over 10 minutes to do. Overall, it's very nice and you can't beat the under $40 price tag. Have priced several comps at over $100. Would recommend to anyone with a small space.

great look!
from Bartlett, IL,  May 23, 2009

I love this chandelier! It came with an attachment so if I chose, I could have just plugged it in and hung it. It came with everything that I needed for easy use, instead, I got an electrician to replace my old fixture for this chandelier. it looks great and it was reasonably priced! I highly recommend this to anyone.
