What it is: very attractive. as shown. arrived very quickly. easy to install. What it isn't: very forceful. It throws a wide band of gentle "rain". My hair is not terribly thick, so rinsing after shampoo was not an issue. Might be for someone with load of hair.This showerhead is a nice change from my old spritzer type. It certainly won't beat you to wakefulness, but is a nice gentle shower that covers a nice area. I will try it on a new extension wand to make the face of the showerhead parallel to the floor. I think that will enhance the showerlike quality.

Reason for purchase:I purchased a new shower head because my old one believe it or not had to much pressure to the point that is stung sometimes. The water inlet also began to get a slow leak that was quickly growing.How it works:This one just didn't do it for me. We have good water pressure in general but once this shower head went on it was all but gone. That isn't the part that bothers me the most though surprisingly. This thing takes a good 15 seconds to turk fully on. It has to fill with water fully first. Once it is filled, this thing makes a very loud noise from how the water flows through it. If you like the feeling of rain fall I think this would be a good one for you. As a note though you should get an extender bar because the spray will "droop" out of the head if you don't.How it looks:This head is really built nicely. Very heavy duty, and very nice craftsmanship. It really looks like a show piece in the bathroom. No cheap generic rubber washer was used either. They used one that fits snug to the pivot ball on the inside of the nozzle and flat on the other. (NOTE) to avoid scratching when installing use a washcloth over the teeth of the wrench.Overall: I gave it 3 stars over all and those were for how well it was built. I would say if you like med to high pressure then skip this one but if low is okay, and you like the rain fall feel then this is a great shower head. I hope this helped you out in making a choice....

I bought this to go in our newly remodeled bathroom and so far so good. I also bought a 17" extension arm which is necessary to get the head in the right place. The head is very heavy so be sure to get a strong arm. I would probably not use this in a shower/bath combo but in a walk-in shower it is great.

Beautiful and good quality. Not light weight and flimsy. I have not installed it yet but believe me I am looking forward to taking a shower when I do. It really will dress up my bathroom. I have bought a lot of mdse. from Overstock.com, everything from watches to bed sheets and all have been of the uptmost quality. I have been pleased with every shipment.

This shower head has great coverage and it's very elegant in looks. If you are concerned about water pressure, make sure you have good plumbing to start with, otherwise you'll just get a nice rain-like effect. I find it soothing.
