This bench was exactly what I was looking for! It is very good quality - the only thing I was a little surprised about is that one of the seams on the top was not perfectly pulled - super minor, I don't think anyone can tell but me. I would recommend this piece. The price beats everything else I have seen like it. I like the way that you can lift the lid and it stays open until you shut it. Great for kids to find their blankets or stuff.

I read all of the other reviews but was still a little hesitant, this was our first order from Overstock. Our bench arrived in less than a week, packed very well and in perfect condition. NO ASSEMBLY required (unless you want to screw in the four "feet") so needless to say my husband was very pleased. This is a gorgeous bench and I too will probably purchase another...we were concerned, the dimensions seemed small but it is not small at all, we have it by the entry loaded with backpacks, coats, etc. with room to spare. You will not be dissapointed.
The bench arrived earlier today and I'm leaving the assembly, which looks like simply screwing in the 4 legs, to my husband. In the meantime, I can tell anyone interested in purchasing this Milano storage bench that it appears very sturdy and is an attractive piece of furniture. I had heard delivery was very quick (this was true), and I had seen the item on other websites for more money so I felt good placing my first order from Overstock.com! We are going to use this bench in our gameroom, where it will be handy for storing many things. I'm tempted to order another one for our family room as well! It would provide extra seating for two, in addition to offering more storage space for blankets, throw pillows, etc.It is every bit as nice as pictured, however, I was surprised by the color. I expected "chocolate" to be more of a medium-dark brown. I consider this to be very close to black.
