I travel frequently on business and have grown accustom to the high quality linens offered in finer hotels. Having never ordered bedding on line, I was hesitant to purchase the duvet cover. I did a lot of shopping around and compared both prices and quality (thread counts, etc) before placing my order. When I finally did order, the package arrived promptly and the duvet cover was in excellent condition. It is absolutely beautiful! Clean crisp lines with barely a wrinkle --- and the subtle contrast of the sheen vs matte stripes is perfectly elegant! I do wish the sides were a bit longer but I think that's simply the nature of duvets, especially with down filled comforters. The fabric is beautiful, incredibly soft and pill-free. It's even better than the hotel linens! Thank you!

In the few years that I've purchased bedding from Overstock, I've learned that it's hit or miss. This duvet cover wasn't an entire miss, but it wasn't an entire hit either. I've definitely purchased better quality duvet covers from Overstock before. For starters, the button enclosure has a few flaws. I dislike that the buttons are small (essentially, they're shirt buttons -- easily replaceable, so you could view that as a plus), and they were sewn on rather flimsily. One of the button holes was sewn shut, so I had to cut it open. There were trailing threads in various places along the seams, which makes me hesitant to wash the duvet cover in any cycle other than delicate/gentle. And the fabric quality for being 800tc is, in my opinion, below average. I have other duvet covers with the same thread count, and they feel substantially sturdier and better made. I will say that the color of the duvet cover is pretty spot on to what's displayed on the site. I realize computer monitors can't be relied upon for color accuracy, but the indigo color I purchased was, for the most part, precise. Overall, I'm content with the duvet cover. It's not so terrible that I feel compelled to return it.

Product was a featured in advertisment, well packaged,easy to put right into use. It is a lovely addition to my bedroom. I have ordered a down comforter to put inside with one I already own, and hope these light weight covers will be enough for winter in the NE. Nice product!

This is a very nice set. It is a thick, heavy quality and makes our comforter feel much cooler to the touch. The only complaint I have is that I bought the deep sage, which is beautiful, but once washed it has a duller tone than it did when it was new. Easily worth the cost though.

Item looks better in the picture and is a bit more shiny and darker then expected. I have not laundered it yet and that will be the real test. It is not easy to find a quality duvet that is not floral so I decided to keep it. The size is fine and my quilt fits well. I would suggest using corner clips inside to keep the quilt in place.

I purchased this cover in 2004 and it's one of the best buys I've made! Sadly it was destroyed by our new dryer but luckily I found it again on my Overstock history and I'm buying it again today! I had purchased another more expensive duvet cover when my original one was destroyed but it never matched up to this one so we're moving it to the guest room and getting our awesome cover back!

this duvet cover is perfect for the price. i bought this duvet in black, the only thing i dont like is the first time i washed it, the black seemed to have faded a bit. it's not quite as "crisp" as i would like. overall comfort is wonderful, very soft! looks amazing in my room, even though the black faded i still would buy it again. very good quality for the price!

I have used silk blends for twenty yrs. I switched to cotton for the durability. I am still getting used to the weight but it's a great product.

I purchased this item and received it within a few days. It appears to be of good quality and I am currently using the cover/shams on my queen bed. I thought the color was just maybe a teensy weensy bit off, but perception is in the eye of the beholder.

I purchased the Duvet Cover set in gold and was disappointed that it was mustard yellow in appearance. The photo did not match the item. The quality of the fabric, however, was very nice. This is the first item that I have returned to Overstock.

Love the duvet, looks dressy, & very comfy to relax on. Ivory holds up great, did not iron & when pulled straight creases don't show enough to worry about, goes perfectly with 400 printed Medallion cotton sheets in Ivory with beige pattern. Looks wonderful, would buy more.

I purchased this duvet with a down comforter. I ordered it in the color chocolate. It looked exactly as it was decribed, and is soft and luxurious! Fabulous deal!

I've had this duvet set for almost a year now and it's held up to high standards. Yes, when you first open the package the fabric seems stiff, but after each wash it softens and thickens as you would expect from 800 thread count. The damask pattern and button closures stay strong. Better than so many other styles I've tried. I'm buying a second set before they run out!

This material has a nice sheen to it. The stripes are about an inch thick. I paired this duvet set in Ecru with off white sheets and it goes wonderfully.

i bought this to go over my down comforter and it looks great and feels great too . i suggest washing a couple of times before use to make them softer. i gott the black set and it looks very classy and it's soft too .

Overall, this product was very disappointing. The stitching looked extremely flawed and the fabric was far from acceptable. The cover feels very rough and there was no tag or insert verifying that it was 800 thread count. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Down Comforter, thought it was expensive but, when it arrived the product had the same type of various colors and textures of fabric as my comforter and it is machine washable! Excellent choice.

I bought this after reading several reviews on several comparable duvet covers. I went with this one after considering all of the features, reviews and price for an 800tc cover. Though, as stated in other reviews, the tag does not specify the thread count, it is very soft, and high quality fabric. It washes/dries very well on delicate cycles; no buttons coming off, minimal wrinkles if removed and used promptly from dryer. In fact by the time I went to bed, there were no wrinkles. The color is exactly what I was expecting from the picture shown. It is chocolate with a little bit of sheen in the stripes. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star for appearance is I wish it were a little wider. It has plenty of length, but the sides don't quite reach to the bottom of my mattress as I like. I do, however, have a very deep pillowtop, so this is true of many covers for me. One last thing...in regards to pets...I too have dogs, and hair does collect along the bottom trim of the duvet. It is very easy to simply "swipe" off.

I love this set! It is goes great as a simple yet elegant cover that feels perfect too! I have washed it twice and so far it holds up great. It has me looking for a new change to the room so i can have an "excuse" to buy another one in a different color!!
