Flatware
I was disappointed with the slight rust that developed on the edge of the knives after the second time in the dishwasher. It was easily washed off with a brillo pad, but being 18/10 I would not have thought this would happen.

Wonderful replacement set.
I was replacing a set of *** flatware I received for my previous wedding. They had a bad vibe to them now that I'm remarried. :) Also they were curved so it was difficult to twirl spaghetti noodles or to balance the knives on the plate. This ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE set solves all these problems. They are very heavy, solid and durable. They have ridges for added grip. They are straight so we can twirl spaghetti easily! They are just great!

Solid flatware set, great style and weight
If you are looking for a flatware set and like the styling then this is a perfect purchase. Good price, solid manufacture, good weight and comes with a nice wood drawer insert. I bought two sets and am delighted.

Not Much of a Bargain, but Nice Flatware
I bought the Mikasa Italian Countryside dish set so of course once I saw this was available, I "HAD" to have matching flatware, even though I'd gotten a beautiful set from *** by Reed and Barton for $47.95 (also 18/10, and the same number of pieces). But, because I love to match, I took those back for these, and I have to say, I really like this set -- except for that the salad forks are freaky small. The style, weight and the quality are all great. My bigger disappointment was that the dishes were more of a cream rather than "white" as they look online almost everywhere, but since I have the flatware and that big set, I'm in too deep to do anything about it. Pretty nice stuff for every day use!
