I love this set!
I must have looked over dozens of sets before settling for 'Anissa' from Mikasa. It's a contrast of simple dinner plates and mugs with a great design focused on the side plates and bowls. I love the wide open plates, generous size bowls, and simplicity of the mugs. This set works perfectly for me and the pieces are beautifully made, which I expect from Mikasa. My shipment arrived very quickly, however one of the bowls was broken in half. After submitting an email requesting a replacement, I received excellent care and have now received 2 replacement bowls! For those of you that have not purchased with Overstock before, I can tell you that Overstock's Customer Service is outstanding!

Classy asian inspired design.
This a great casual set of dishes which we will use every day. The two color glaze is very interesting and the vine pattern on the soup and salad plates give the set a distinctive look. The mugs are large and feel very solid. A very pretty design and a great value!
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? It looks more golden on the site, it is actually a taupe color.
- How is the quality of the product? Excellent.

Arrived in perfect condition and I have to say that pictures don't do it justice. The 16 piece set I ordered is just beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased.

Delivery was quick and professionally done. They are not only beautiful, but are a good weight and durable. My husband and I both love the look. The bowls will be perfect for salad or pasta. A Little Delicate
These beautiful dishes are a bit more delicate than one would expect for everyday dinnerware. Other than that they are stunning and prettier than they appear on-line. I just need to get my hubby to be more careful and not perch them on top of the dishrack - I lost one of the bowls to the goddess of chipped edges last night...

Arrived broken and scratched
I was so excited to receive this dinnerware, but when I got the package, I noticed the box was pretty beaten up. I thought that even if UPS had treated it roughly that maybe the dishes inside would be packed sufficiently to avoid harm--not so. There was not any packing inside the box, so the manufacturers box was just bouncing around inside. A bowl was broken and several of the plates were scratched. Overstock was willing to send me a replacement set, but after a couple of disappointments with Overstock, I decided to shop elsewhere.

Gorgeous set
I have gotten many compliments on this set. I think it's beautiful too! I will have to say that buying replacement pieces means a new lot, and so although the colors match completely, I can tell which are the original and which are the replacements, the width of the designs differ. I don't think that any guest would notice. However, it it's possible to control lot purchase I would try to do so.

I can't tell you how pleased I was with the dinnerware. The quality is excellent and the dishes are very complimentary to and dinner table. I was very pleased to find that not one dish had not even a nick on them from shipping. Very pleased with them and I would recommend them to anyone.

Welcome addition to the family table
Best aspects of set: really like the pattern on the bowl and smaller plate great color combination for kitchen that is based on earth tone colors bowl is a nice size family likes the design ( who knew they would notice?) Worst aspects of set: spouse does not like using the cup in the office, prefers a broader based cup that would not tip over as easy on a desk ( II personally prefer the cup size and footprint) All in all, this is a design that I have been looking for. Until a few years ago, the only brown based design kitchenware I really liked was from the 1960's. Putting together a set would have been expensive which was not and option. So I waited and waited until I found this to replace the nasty college mixed collection of stuff. Everyone is happy with the look and quality (except for the one noted bias for wider bottomed coffee mugs).
