Nice microwave, not as much wattage as I had hoped. Looks really good, but smaller than expected and the round plate inside tends to move out of place often, which is annoying. Doesn't take up much space which is nice and matching our stainless appliances nicely.

I have had this exact model (slightly different model number but the same oven) for three years. It died from operator error (a friend accidentally damaged it, long story) and knew that I wanted the exact same setup for a replacement. I had originally bought this at Home Depot for $250 more. Instead of going back there, I did a search on Overstock and was ecstatic to find the same model here for $250 less than I paid 3 years ago (and, $200 less than Home Depot's current pricing). We tend to use this Oven more than our standard built-in oven because it takes less time to get to temperature and doesn't heat up the entire kitchen. It's a breeze to use as a Convection or Microwave and even has a combo option. We do have a built-in space for a Microwave and placed this in that spot. If you want to do that, you need to also buy the trim kit, sold separately. The only downside is to make sure you keep the inside of this oven clean or else it will look nasty. Otherwise, this is the best purchase I have made in a decade for my kitchen!

Cuisinart is a trusted name in my house and this microwave is no exception. It's easy to use and quiet. The refurbished unit had a dent in the back but it has no effect on the unit itself. The settings are easy to use and the inside is quite roomy. All in all a great kitchen 'addition'.

After reading some of the reviews I was just a little nervous about buying this particular model...especially since I had never heard of Oster microwaves. But very nice and better than I expected. Runs so much better than my old one and perhaps quieter even. Heats evenly and quickly. Hope to get lots of use out of it. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I purchased the Cuisinart Stainless Steel Microwave in May of 2010. Everything about it was perfect. I used it several times daily and it was marvelous, however thank God I purchased appliance insurance. This June 2011 it started Arcing and producing a perfect storm inside, started smoking and I pulled the plug. At present I am awaiting a credit and intend to get another one and more insurance. I was disappointed it only lasted one year however the stainless steel exterior and interior and design and functions make it a keeper. I would simply suggest one buy insurance as it is refurbished.

I am very pleased with the microwave so far. Cooks food evenly. Love the sensor reheat! The melt butter mode is also very handy.

Whenever we set our old microwave on defrost, the constant power surges as it mimicked 50% power by cycling on and off continually tripped our breaker. We've had this Panasonic model for well over a year and it's the best microwave we've ever had. The inverter technology is fantastic and offers true variable power levels instead of the full-on/full-off of other microwaves. We just bought a second one of these as a housewarming gift for our daughter.

I was a little fearful of using the convection function of the microwave. I am not used to putting metal objections in a microwave appliance (and you shouldn't if using a standard microwave oven), but the convection function of the oven makes this appliance a dual function pleasure. It saves energy by eliminating the need to heat up a conventional oven.

This is the best microwave oven I've owned. The unit is easy to operate, beautiful to look at, and moderately priced. I recommend it highly.

This is the second Panasonic microwave I have owned and both have been of high quality workmanship. This 1250 watt oven cooks about 15% faster than a 1000 watt oven. The 2.2 cubic foot interior is about as big as you can find and is very easy to clean when spills occur. The white exterior is very sleek. This microwave is a great buy for the money. You will certainly be happy with your purchase!

This is a great microwave/oven but it is so deep it almost didn't fit on my counter. So be sure to check the measurements before you purchase.

I only use a microwave oven to heat and reheat, not cook. It has worked fine for that thus far.

This is the BEST microwave/convection oven I've ever used. The feature I love the most is the reheat feature. It allows you to select from 1/2 cup to a plate, and the plate option is perfect for re-heating those leftovers. You just place the food on your plate, cover it and start. Everytime, no matter what kind of food you are re-heating, it comes out perfectly and evenly hot. According to GE, it measures the amount of moisture released during the process so it stops at the perfect moment. The popcorn feature is also good. I also have an Electrolux built-in microwave that cost me more than double the price of this one, and I never use it because I love this one so much. If you're looking for a microwave that does more than just re-heat, this is the perfect solution.

Works well, easy to use. The convection oven works great but is not any faster than a conventional oven. Great for a second oven and the microwave is what you would expect out of a microwave. The time adjustments are limited to 15 second increments for heating but that does seem to be a problem.

This Microwave works as advertised. The "Sensor" Cook & "Sensor" Reheat features are fantastic. No guessing as to how long to cook or reheat your food, the sensor feature does it automatically. Also, the new cooking method which actually varies the strength of the microwave while cooking, results in a much more consistent cooking result, meaning the temperature of the food is the same throughout, minimizing the usual hot spots around the edges and cool spots in the middle of your food. This cooking method eliminates most stirring as the food is cooking. So far, it is by far the best Microwave that I have ever owned & I have been using it daily for the last few weeks. The maximum power level (1,250 watts) is higher than most similar sized Microwaves (1,100 watts), but with the variable strength ability and the sensor feature, this isn't the time conversion problem I anticipated as most frozen food times and cooking instructions are based upon 1,100 watt Microwaves. The extra strength is a real asset and works to enhance the cooking options.
Microwaves are a kitchen staple. They offer convenience, no residual heat from cooking and, when compared with an oven or range, efficiency. With so much going for them, it's no surprise microwaves are so popular. If there was ever a drawback to having a microwave oven in the kitchen, it was that the appliance claimed too much valuable countertop real estate. But ever since microwave ovens were made to be installed over the range, that dilemma has ceased to exist. Installing a built-in microwave is really not that difficult, but what many people don't realize is that they need a dedicated 20-amp circuit installed in the cabinet directly above the microwave oven for the installation to be up to code. If you're not comfortable running your own circuit, hire a qualified electrician for the job. Once you have the circuit installed, you can then install a built-in microwave.
