Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.

This product has had very mixed reviews, but I decided to take a chance on it. The crinkly sound that others have noted is there (there seems to be a coating on the underside of the microsuede that makes this sound), but it was reduced after I fluffed it up in the dryer and is not objectionable to me. I also agree that there is not much down in the comforter; I would say that it is barely adequate, and it moves around so that you have to keep reallocating it to the middle from the edges. On the positive side, the workmanship and material are nice.My main complaint is that the camel color is not as pictured: much more brown. I had hoped for a lighter, golden color, so I may return this just because the color is not quite right for my room's decor.
I ordered a King size comforter as a gift for my parent's new bed. I was looking forward to surprising them by making up their bed to look really beautiful, and then putting a big bow on it for their anniversary present.I was very upset, and disappointed when the comforter arrived with the wrong size pillow shams, standard size instead of King Size, which was necessary to make the bed look polished and complete. However, I have to add that the color was lovely, and material just fine.
This purchase was a big mistake! When the alarm went off, I was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed to go to work. Maybe I should go back to sandpaper and straw.
I bought the blue/ queen. It is soft, cuddly, beautiful and does keep us warm but I have to agree with the person who said there must be some kind of plastic in the lining of the blanket. Every time you move it sounds like a grocery type plastic bag.I too have been an overstock customer for a long time now and was disappointed in this item.

There must be some sort of plastic lining in the blanket because every time you move in bed it sounds like a giant trash bag is your blanket. If it wasn't so noisy when you move we would be happy.I have been an overstock shopper for years, yet I have NEVER reviewed a product before, however in this case I don't want anyone else to make my same mistake.It may be issolated to the color/size, we have camel/queen.
