pretty curtains
I bought these curtains in ivory for my 6 and 8 year old daughters' room and they are just right. The girls love how soft and fuzzy they are and the "big girl" ivory color. I think that these will be perfect for their room for many years to come. However these are fairly lightweight curtains so if you are expecting a heavyweight velvet then you will be dissapointed. Also not light blocking at all. Very nice for a child's or teenager's room but not the level of quality or elegance for any other room.

Cute curtains
I love these curtains. I just bought them for my baby's room and they are exactly what I was looking for. I should add that I was specifically going for look and color, not function per se. We painted our daughter's room sky blue and I wanted a bright, soft-textured pink for contrast. These curtains were exactly what I envisioned. They are so soft you could probably use them for a light blanket. They also soften light entering the room, but do not block it. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers meant by them not draping properly, mine drape just fine, very elegant. They have no stiffness to them, so they don't do the semi-circle arcs, just soft ripples, that might be it. If you want something decorative and bright for a baby or little girl's room, these are ideal. If you want something to block light, you should go with a thermal or blackout option.

I got these for my daughters black white and pink room along with some black and white curtains(nirvana). I love the difference they make in the room!

Bright Curtains!
I bought the bright pink, which is very bright but just what I was looking for. The velvet is light weight, and they hang nicely. I bought two sets of panels, the sun behind them makes a really nice light in the room. Would recommend for a girl's room.

AWESOME PINK!!
THESE ARE LONG, BEAUTIFUL AND SOFT CURTAINS!! I HAVE THEM HANGING IN MY LIVING ROOM NOW AND THEY ALSO LEAVE A SPECIAL PINK TINT TO THE ROOM.

Don't get the green ones....
The fabric is great for a kids room or play area, but not as heavy as it appears in the photos. Which wasn't a huge deal breaker because they were to be used in our (very casual) den. But I ordered the green and I was so excited because I had been searching for a granny smith apple color and that's what the photo showed, but when I got them they were the color of the weird Spring Green crayon in the Crayola box. They sort of had a day glow effect. They would be perfect for someone who likes to decorate with black lights and beaded curtains, but the were all wrong for us.

My granddaughter and I picked these out because of the color. Color is vibrant and velvet is light weight so they hang nice and create a pink glow in her bedroom.
