Beautiful Artwork
I pondered over this purchase for quite a long time, wondering if the colors were true to what was shown on-line. The background is a little more green that what it appears to be with the colors of the flowers being fresh and vibrant. It's absolutely beautiful. I have a very large wall and needed something to go above the couch on that wall. This is perfect. I wish I'd ordered it long ago. It's a perfect complement to my room which has tan, red, cream, and olive green in it. It does not weigh nearly as much as I thought it would and was easy to hang. I highly recommend this piece of artwork!

Beautiful
I love this picture. The colors are gorgeous and really make my living room "pop". It arrived nicely packaged and in excellent shape. I was very impressed and have since bought another two paintings from Overstock.com.

This is so pretty. I am one of 7 Sisters and my mothers maiden name is the name of the artist so I just had to have this when I saw it. It's very big.....But absolutely beautiful. The colors are awesome.

Everything is wrong
Looking at this "painting" I wonder how it could earn such glowing reviews. I would not even call this craft, let alone art. This is daub with paint spilled over the canvas and spread out in a few brush strokes (flowers, mostly). Most of the green background color is layered with thick spats of poisonously green pain, most likely, applied with a sponge and in rush, and the canvas was covered with plastic when wet. Therefore, paint is smeared in many areas. And proportion wise, it is not attractive: too few objects in a large space filled with nothing. Each flower is approximately the size of a football ball. Ugly. Will return.

Love it!!
I received my painting a few weeks ago and am thrilled with it. It provides just the right amount of color in my living room. I must agree with other reviews that the background is much more green than it appears in the picture online...but still beautiful.

Very Green
I have just received this painting and I am going to keep it but with some misgivings. It really is not hand painted, it probably was printed onto canvas and then some paint was added on top. It was done kind of messy. The background color is very green which is ok but definitely greener than anticipated. Also one of the braces holding the wire on the back was completely broken. The shipping box was untouched so this was obviously done pre-shipping. Someone in quality control allowed this to be shipped which is disappointing. I have glued and re-enforced the brace; that seemed easier than returning it. Overall this piece of art "pops" out in the room, the poppies are wonderful. I am not totally happy with this purchase for the price but satisfied enough to keep it.

A-Maz-Ing!
This was a five-star Overstock.com purchase FOR SURE! Being an 11-year California transplant, I've come to love the California state flower, and being near San Francisco with the famed "Seven Sisters" gabled houses as well, this print has even more meaning for me. The fact that its main colors go with our bedroom was just a stroke of luck! I am certain that we will receive many compliments on this amazing piece of artwork. (Even my coworkers were enviously peeping inside the shipping box!)
