The lamp is lovely. It is dark and substantial, fairly masculine. It is as described. I feel it is a moderate to good value. My only disappointment was it was not as tall as described. It was a good 3 inches short.

I had this lamp with 2 lights in it and my grandson raved about it so much I gave it to him. When he got it home he said he would love to have another one just like it for the end tables in his living room so I ordered this one thinking it had 2 lights, but it only has one. He doesn't mind at all and loves it. They are very happy with it so I am pleased as well. Would highly recommend this lamp!!!!

Lamp is not mica as in pictured ad; it is painted in a symetrical pattern, with cotton braid trim. While it is attractive and useful; the style fits in a small space, it is not the subtle opaque glow that I had anticipated.
