So far, this stool is holding my 220-lb son with no problem, even if he and the sister keep adjusting the gas lift up and down. I like the color, not as shining as the picture on the website but good.Shipment is fast and in good condition. I'm very satisfied with Overstock.com's service.

I bought 2 of them sometime ago ... what a mistake... The quality of the metal part is horrible. There were rusted spots when they were shipped. I haven't even used them at all since I bought them and the metal base is already getting more rusted. I didn't even put them in the kitchen. They are in my living room which is very dry. You can't adjust the height of the chair, which makes me wonder why they have the handle sticking out... I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone... Really bad quality and cheap material.

What can you say - great deal and well executed. Got them in about 5 days. Well packaged. A snap to put together, they look great, work great. Not sure how long they will hold up but at this price if anything goes wrong I'll just get another one. Nice job Overstock.

Very unique and eye-catching martini chair, the red really pops in a room. What you DON'T see is that there's 5 small dents in the seat (appears to be screws coming up from underneath), and the actual flat sitting area for your backend is only about 11 inches. For children this is fine, but for an average adult it is not and you get that feeling that you will slide off at any moment. On top of that, the seat plastic slopes a bit higher where your thighs rest on the edge, which pushes into your thighs and becomes uncomfortable after 5 minutes (cuts off leg circulation). Then again, these chairs aren't meant for sitting on very long, they are hard plastic. SUMMARY: Great to look at and great for kids or quick visits from guests, but look elsewhere if you want comfortable functional chairs. Choose wisely, the return shipping cost is almost the same price as the chair due to the size of the box.

The red color is beautiful, but already it has rubbed off on the top. Also, when you sit in it, there is no way to keep it from turning unless your feet are planted on the floor. The foot rest spins with the seat.

The barstool is shiny dark metallic red, is very easy to put together and shipped fast. I can't think of a reason you might not like it aside from not liking the colour.

I absolutely love these barstools- I was looking to upgrade the look of my apartment and these stools worked wonders. I'm terrible at putting things together, but they were easy, even for me!! My girlfriend's mother absolutely loves them and tries to steal them every time she comes over to visit. I would recommend these to anyone!!

These barstools are wonderful. They added a great look to my home. Very comfy, fun to sit in. We like to spin! Seem to hold weight very well. Easy to assemble. Cant beat the red!

I got two red and two charcoal stools and they are great, I love them. They look wonderful with my bar. I had a problem with one of the red stools, but they exchange it and I got it really fast. These are great stools to have and for a good price.

I love my new sleek barstools! They are very modern, beautiful, and very easy to put together. The only problem I have found with them, is that the seats are easily scratched. But all in all the value is great and I love them!

I bought this stool to introduce some color and contemporary style into an otherwise traditional and neutral decor. Other reviews cited difficulty in assembly, but I found it quite easy and logical to put together. The color is a beautiful, vibrant red. The stool is very comfortable to sit in; although I bought it with my kids in mind, adults find it comfortable as well. My only notes of caution are that the base is chrome, so dropped food etc. shows up and requires frquent cleaning (easy to do by just wiping), and the plastic seat base does scratch, so the perfect sheen that your stool will arrive with will become marred. Neverthless, I have had these stools for 3 years and they still look and function great. I just bought this last, replacement stool, because the original got dropped out of the back of a truck and cracked (hardly something that would be expected in daily use!) Enjoy the stool - it is really fun!

I bought this for my teenage son to use at his antique drafting/drawing board in his room. The contrast is terrific and he's enjoying it. The color and finish are like metallic auto paint and seems tough. Pretty easy to put together and arrived in one box.

I loved these stools when we first bought them. After a few months, a couple of them fell to the floor as mentioned by another reviewer. I simply replaced the broken plastic piece with a couple of very large washers with small center holes and they work better than ever. Just drop the washers down the tube in the base. We still really like the stools, even though the repair was annoying.

I bought 2 of these barstools, and I was able to assemble both in less than 20 min. Assembly was unbelievably easy, did not require screws. I got the red barstools and the color is amazing. Like cherry or lipstick red. Also, they are very comfortable to sit on. And they swivel and I like that you can place your feet on the stand. Great for its price, I would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to assemble, looks slick and pretty but after few times sitting on it, it becomes squeeky and tilts on one side. Won't recommend it.

These are one of my best purchases ever. Ever since I saw this at a brick & mortar store a couple of years ago, I vowed that I'd buy them when I buy my first house. I've looked everywhere (both online & the old fashioned way of shopping), and these are the best value for the money. Similar bar stools sell for 3-4x the price. I've gotten so many compliments, except from my mom who says they're uncomfortable for her (she's has wide hips). The only thing I didn't like is that they arrived with little dings - visible only from certain angles, but customer service gave me store credit for thesmall dents because I didn't want to return them. Assembly was a breeze, I can't believe other manufacturers can't make furniture that's as easy as this to assemble.

I LOVED THE APPEARANCE AND THE PRICE. HOWEVER, WITHIN A WEEK, AS SOON AS YOU SIT ON ONE OF THEM, IT GOES COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS AND ITS TOO BIG FOR ME TO PAY TO SHIP IT BACK. NOW I'M BASICALLY STUCK WITH IT, AND ITS SIMPLY A BAR STOOL FOR APPEARANCE RATHER THAN FUNCTIONALITY. MAYBE I JUST GOT A LEMON BECAUSE THE OTHER IS FINE. HOWEVER, I ORDERED AND PAID FOR 2 STOOLS THAT I WANTED TO WORK AND ONLY ONE DOES.

I love the appearance of the stools, although they're less sturdy/heavy than I had anticipated. They look fantastic with my decor, and I've received a lot of compliments about them.
