Our new bathroom is fairly modern. We have brushed stainless fixtures ( faucet, vanity handles, towel bars, etc., So we weren"t looking for cute or Early American. This seemed to fit the bill on the website. Big box, well packed, although a small corner of one of the glass pieces was broken off. Since the ends went through a slot in the metal fixture, becoming out of sight, so it wasn't a problem. I would have thought the bulbs would point down, pointing to the mirror, but the opposite is true. It assembles in a clever way which seems simple. Everything fit. My friend/ builder didn't complain about any installation problems. The light, although not overwhelming, does seem to be fine, even before we put in the big mirror underneath. It is solid and different...a nice complement to the bathroom. My only worry is the bulbs. They are small, fairly high intensity, and I don't remember seeing them in the stores. Hopefully, replacing them won't be a problem. Shouldn't be.
