Nice unit, but note that it only fits up to 50" TV

As noted by other reviewers, this entertainment unit almost comes fully assembled, so that was awesome! You do need two people to carry the heavy pieces though. The color is a very beautiful rich dark mahogany, and it fits perfectly with my living room decor.I do want to note that the description is a tad misleading. It does not fit up to a 59" TV. I have a 50" plasma, and it barely fit together with the two shelf units without leaving too much space in between. If you don't mind having space between the middle shelf and the two end units, then you can have a larger TV with no problems. If you wanted a more clean, conformed look, then a 50" screen will be the maximum.Also, another thing to mention is that the whole unit is not completely wood. The shelving parts are glass. I minus one star because one of the glass pieces came with some problems. The glass was cut unproportional, so it did not fit correctly inside the unit. Overstock customer service was very helpful and remedied this problem very promptly.Overall, I'm very satifsfied. It's a very nice and sturdy piece. It was very simple to put together, and I would highly recommend this!

Excellent craftsmanship

This is one of the best-built manufactured pieces of furniture we have come across. The unit is of excellent quality! It was delivered in pieces that required two strong people to move and put together...but the assembly was relatively easy once we got it inside. We love it! It changes the dyamics of our living room quite a bit and we've had many admiring guests!

Very pleased

This piece arrived basically assembled. All you had to do was add the shelves. Like others have said, the description is misleading. I have a 50' TV and it just barely fit with the top shelf. So if you have anything bigger this might not be for you. The stand itself is beautiful! Sturdy, dark Cherry wood color and nice contemporary clean lines. Just one more note. The side shelves are actually glass not wood.

Metro Hill Entertainment Center

I appreciated the fact that the entertainment center required no building and that the delivery people set it up pretty much and took the cartons. It did not look as expensive or modern to me as it did in the photo but I've grown to like it. Our 50" tv was too large to allow for the top shelf to be included but it otherwise looks nice. It had some damage on the tv console portion - some laminating was missing but it is not terribly noticeable. It also scratches very easily so it is necessary to be very careful placing the tv. This is not the most attrative entertainment center I saw when shopping, but for the price, it was a good choice.

it put a smile in my heart

Real bold but quite, able to show what not and pictures and not have them move your eyes from the tv. My guest really love it makes my living room look big they say, when they walk in it takes their breathe away. I love it, love it, love it.

Entertainment center

This entertainment center fits very nicely in my one bedroom apartment. It came in four boxes, and was no hassle at all to put it together, actually shelfs made with glass not wood, a little different than on the picture. I just don't like that it was made in china, not usa.

METROHILL REVIEW

My Husband and I are very pleased with this entertainment system. The color is beautiful and it was easy to assemble. Our only complaint was that there were some brackets missing that we needed to install the shelves. An easy fix with a trip to the hardware store, but annoying.

Nice...very nice

The entertainment center is great! The quality and assembly is not a hassle at all. It also comes with glass (thick) to place your frames and anything else you would want to stand out. I would reccomend this to anyone home, work place or show room for the cherry oak wood lovers.!

I love this entertainment center! It came assembled, all I did was put the shelves on..and decorate! It is a very rich mahagony finish and the front is completely framed out...Which I feel gives it a very professional and finished look. The quality of wood is very sturdy and well made. I believe we will have this piece of furniture for a very long time.

Great Entertainment Center for the price!

Overall, I love the price and color of this entertainment center. It is very sturdy. A plus is that most of it is already put together. All you have to do is put the shelves in. We opted to leave out the shelf over the tv and left a about an inch of space between the center and two units to fit a 52 inch tv. Having the piece on top still keeps the unit looking joined as one piece...and you can barely notice the spaces on each side since they are only an inch. I love this entertainment center!
