I got this for my Mom. The table is very long with the leaf. The table is very solid and the color is great. My mom loves it. However, she didn't realize that when adding the leaf, it would be so long but taking the leaf out was too small. She left it in but had to rearrange her furniture to fit the entire table in her dining room. Another thing is that table top can be easily scratched.

Great starter table and worth the cheap price. Underside is a bit rough/unfinished like most Overstock products, but not like anyone really looks or feels under there. It adds value to any room and doesn't hurt your pocketbook.

This table is so beautiful. It is solidly built, very easy to put together & sturdy. The only issue we have with it is that the wood will scratch easily. We are very satisfied with this purchase, especially for the price.

This table is beautiful. What a bargain for the price. The shipping was super quick. It said it might take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, but it was at my home in under a week from when I placed the order. It was very easy to assemble. Very happy.

I have looked for the past six months or so for a table locally and none could match up to the quality and beauty of this table. I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived in perfect condition one week later. It was super easy for one person to assemble, using only two bolts per leg. Be sure to have someone available to help you lift and turn it right side up, as the legs are vulnerable on the edges. I am extremely happy with the purchase and the price. I paired it with parson's chairs and it is beautiful. I gave this product an overall rating of 5 but would like to point out a few things that I did not see mentioned in the other reviews. First and foremost, the tabletop is not visible in the posted picture and it does not look anything as I had pictured in my mind. It is a checkerboard design with five squares on one side and five on the opposite. I doubt that I would have ordered the table had I known this. However, it does not take away from the beauty or quality of the table. I am a bit concerned that the center of the table may eventually warp with the weight of the leaf, which I will be leaving in place at all times. With the outer edge legs and no support in the middle, plus the weight of the table, it is a possibility. And finally, the table I received had an extremely strong wood/stain/glue smell to it that still has not completely disappeared. Again, these things in no way distract from the table but it is nice to know all possibilities before a purchase. But overall, it is a very high quality table for a fraction of what is out there on the market.

If you are thinking about buying this table, stop thinking and just add it to your cart and checkout immediately. You do not want to get left out of this bargain for such a high quality piece of furniture. This table is heavy, sturdy, big and beautiful. All wood and beautifully stained. Without the leaf it fits 6 chairs easily. With the leaf in you can fit 8. What more can I say? Overstock, I love you!

Even though I have not sold my old dining room set yet, I've peeked in the box (couldn't resist) and this table is absolutely Gorgeous! It was difficult to tell what the top looked like from the picture, but it is also beautiful. This best thing is it will fit in our rather small dining room (the old set is waaaay too big!) perfectly; if we have extra guests for dinner, we can use the leaf. Thanks Overstock - I had looked everywhere for a table like this - saw a few I liked, but the price was totally out of my budget.

It matches some chairs we purchased from overstock perfectly! It is a heavy table, but it does scratch easily. It looks great and you can NOT beat the price!

The table really looks the part and is extremely simple to assemble - merely a matter of two screws into each of the four legs with the supplied alan key. It takes 15 minutes at most to set up. At this price, you know you're not buying great quality and the rough underside of the table shows that - but on top the veneer is very presentable. The removable center section is also very cleverly designed: easy to remove but it locks firmly into place when you need it.

Looks GREAT -but it appears to be very easily scratched or damaged. I will likely get a glass covering for the top. The wood is a bit soft and I will have to be extra careful not to slide anything accross the top.

I bought two of these tables for a large dining room. They came quickly and were easy to put together. They look fabulous. I also bought leather parson chairs from overstock and they look great with the tables.

Beautiful table and very sturdy. Just put on legs and you are done. Worth more than the asking price. Color is dark with highlights and that is what I wanted. Good deal!
