Perfect organization baskets for my pantry. I followed the instructions of a previous review since we have a French Country decor. My baskets were all identical. I am going to order more for the pantry, bathroom, and linen clotsets.

Overall I was very satisfied with the purchase and will buy more if I need them. My original plan was to organize the shelves in my bedroom closet. However, they were more useful for small items in my pantry - jello boxes, cookie cutters, craft supplies, spice bottles, etc. These are not as carefully made as similar willow baskets I purchased about 10 years ago. There are a lot of pointed ends of the willow sticking out in various places. You may want to carefully trim these off. If you plan to use these for soft items such as clothing you will need to line them. The handles are not reliable - too thin and bent from the packing and shipping. It is best to cut off the handles. The baskets actually look better without them. Finally, the size and color from basket to basket is quite inconsistent. It would be a great plan to get together with several friends and buy 2 or 3 boxes (24 to 36 baskets). Then sort through them so that the different colors go to different homes. I teach County French Design. These are an authentic look for Country French in any natural wood color. They can be spray painted to match any other decor. Matt black or silver work well for contemporary design while colors work for American Country. Floral Spray from your local craft store works great and is available in a rainbow of colors! A decorative tag (purchased from a wedding supply store or on-line) attached with a ribbon for the bedroom / bath or with twine or raffia for the kitchen is a beautiful finishing touch!

The baskets are not well made; they are out of square, the wicker is thin, and the handles are not lined up on the basket . BUT, for the price and if you line them with yardage, they should be ok for light things.
