I bought this table after reading all of the reviews online. I received it very quickly in the mail, and we assembled it easily. From the reviews, I was expecting the metalwork to be heavier-duty. It is a brushed hollowcore metal finished in a matte finish with some distressing. It looks nice, and since we were putting it behind the couch, we kept it. I would probably not have kept it if it were going to be standing alone in the room.
This product is a great buy. I was so excited when it arrived in only 5 days, and was so easy to put together, I had it up and decorated in less than 30 minutes! Thanks Overstock, for a great table at a good price.
The screws do not line up with the holes for assembly. Thankfully I was saved from sending it back as a friend said he would weld it together for me. It looks nice but really, I should have been able to assemble it the way it was meant to be.
This is a great, high-quality table, especially for the price. I saw similar-looking tables by other retailers selling for up to $300 more! It arrived very quickly (within 4 days) and was well-packaged and secure. Easy assembly; no more than 30 minutes for one person. But I was surprised that the metal had a worn/distressed look to it, as that was not included in the product description or photo. I was still very pleased with it overall, but thought that that detail should have been disclosed.
I purchased the bunch tables and, because of ease of assembly and good quality construction, I couldn't pass up the sofa table. Looks great and makes a nice statement in my entry.
