This was my first purchase from Overstock. My goal was to find a basic sofa table, on the narrow side (14") I am very happy with the table and with Overstock's service. The table arrived just as described and just as promised -- on time with all the pieces intact including a 1-page list of parts w/assembly instructions. I put it together in less than 1 hour. Time includes unpacking, checking to make sure all the parts were included, and putting it together by myself. (It would probably have gone faster if there were 2 of us.) The finish is a black distressed or antiqued look. It could easily be painted black (automobile spray paint), if that's the look you want.

This table was the perfect size for my foyer so I took a chance and ordered it. I was really impressed by how easy it went together. I also liked that it comes with pads for the feet so it does not scratch up hardwood floors. Very solid and sturdy for the money. I would recommend it.

I just opened the box and discovered that the metal is actually painted black to look distressed. I expected it to look like black cast iron (or something similar) but instead it looks like a cheap knock-off. I'm not sure whether I'll try to return it or not. I just bought a fixer-upper a year or so ago and I'm just too tired to deal with it! I would certainly recommend it to someone who wants the look of distressed metal... but alas, i'm not one of those people.

I bought this table after reading all of the reviews online. I received it very quickly in the mail, and we assembled it easily. From the reviews, I was expecting the metalwork to be heavier-duty. It is a brushed hollowcore metal finished in a matte finish with some distressing. It looks nice, and since we were putting it behind the couch, we kept it. I would probably not have kept it if it were going to be standing alone in the room.

I am extremely please with this purchase . It was easy to assemble and the end result was more than i expected for the price. it is sturdy and attractive in its simplicity.

I was looking for a narrow sofa table that would not take up too much space. This item suits the purpose but I am disappointed in the appearance. The legs are crooked and the finish looks cheap. I might paint the table eventually. If I knew then what I know now, I would have kept looking. Fortunately, it was not that big of an investment.

After reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try,despite a few negative reviews. This metal console was perfect! It was a good size without taking up a lot of visual space. It arrived quiclkly, wasn't hard to put together, i did it myself.The instructions were there, follow them as they describe,and do not tighten the screws all the way until the end as it suggest. The glass fit,and the table is sturdy. It mixes well with the other furniture in the room. If you are wondering if the glass is tempered (I was) it is. I looked at different consoles from other places and am really happy I chose this one.

This was the first time I purchased anything through Overstock.com, so I was a little leary of the quality of furntiure I would receive. I was extremely happy with the Metal Sofa Table in regard to the appearance, quality & price. It is very sturdy and looks great with my decor. I was extremely pleased with this purchase.

This is a sturdy, compact console table that will complement most decor. The finish is somewhat disappointing, because it looks like "scratches" instead of a true distressed finish. The color is dark gunmetal gray, and its neutral qualities make it a universal color match.

I recently moved to a new apartment that has a pretty large entry way, and I needed to find a nice table for it that wasn't overpriced. I ordered the metal sofa table for my entry hall, as well as the bunch metal end table (same style) for my living room. The sofa table works wonderfully in my entry hall - it has a classy, elegant and modern look to it and doesn't take up too much space. I'm quite happy with it.

Purchased this table for a large wall in my living room. It really fills the space well and looks awesome with a mirror hung above it. This table is a great value. I saw similar tables at Pottery Barn and other stores for at least double the price. It may not be the best quality, but if you are looking for an attractive piece of furniture at a good price, this is a safe bet.

Some people say, they didn't like the way it was painted as somwhat "distress" look. But it appears as it was made that way not like crappy paint or anythnig. I own this pieace for few years now but I don't have anything I don't like about this table.

I needed 2 of these for either side of my fireplace. i have an old house and radiators in the most inconvenient spots... one being on the left side of my fireplace!...why!? anyway, i needed something that had an open bottom and would be high enough to clear the radiator...this was perfect and cheap! and it looks great with the little stained glass windows also on either side of the firleplace. I also like to make sure i'm getting the best price, and O had everyone beat by $15...and i searched for 2 days to make sure. Love my purchase. Oh...and it was not hard to put together...when screwing together, just fasten opposite corners first, like an "x", rather than one end at a time. I had no problems. Thanks O!

So i knew what to expect, and that's exactly what it is...but just a little silver..barely noticable once its in place in your room.

The tables are easy to assemble and the completed product is exactly as described in the promotional materials with the exception noted above. I have a long sofa, and would like for the table tops to butt seamlessly together to give the appearance of one table.

I needed a slender buffet table for a client to use for serving wine and displaying glasses. It was hard to find one this narrow with a distressed finish and smoky glass. We used it in a room that has oil bronze light fixtures and bronze,counter height stools. The table metal is somewhat blackish/silvery/iron colored - it would work well with many darker metals. The finish is very versatile. The assembly was easy. Shipping was quick. It is sturdy enough for its purpose and looks much more expensive. I see there are over 200 reviews of this product so it obviously has mass appeal! Don't be anxious about the negatives in some of them.They must have been unrealistic about their expectations. I would buy it again without hesitation and definitely recommend it. Its size makes it a very useful piece for a narrow space or a hallway. Overstock certainly finds some great products.
