Beautiful, but not top quality
This dresser is stunning in appearance and I still like it every time I walk in my room. The drawers, however, are not top quality. Two fo the five will not stay completely on the tracks, meaning I have to lift and shift when I close them. They also stick somewhat on opening. They are not falling off the tracks, otherwise I would return, they are just a nuisance (that, and the fact that it is gorgeous looking). The wood is very dark, so don't let the "cherry" wood fool you.

This was way to much work, the draws do not open and close properly. Very Very poor quality...So sorry I didn't spend that kind of money on something I could see and touch..never never again

Gorgeous
This chest of drawers is very beautiful and sturdy. It is very heavy. I'm sure I will have it for a long time. I also bought the matching dresser which is equally beautiful.

I returned the item
The item was damaged when it arrived and I returned it. The item had obviously been packed in a cardboard box for a very long time. The cardboard showed signs of water damage and the box was crushed near the bottom. I had the shipper remove the packing materials so I could inspect the dresser. The dresser had a damaged leg from a nail that was driven through the packaging platform. Also, the dresser contained fiberboard where the description stated all hardwood pieces. It was the fiberboard that split in the leg. The dresser also had several mars around the bottom edges where the box was crushed. This dresser never should have left the warehouse in the condition it was in.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The item arrived in a delapitated cardboard box and was crushed near the bottom.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? The item contained fiber board even though the description stated ALL hardwood.

This chest of drawers is beautiful! It is delivered in one piece--excellent quality. The merlot color is accented beautifully by the silver knobs on each drawer. i have the matching bureau and they look gorgeous in my guestroom.
