My husband and I were waking up each morning with sore backs from sleeping on our Queen Size Bed. We decided to try the memory foam. We did a little research and found that most people were recommending the 4" memory foam. So, we ordered it in Queen Size. The foam arrived very quickly and we unwrapped it and allowed it to form into shape. We then placed it on top of our mattress. It fit perfectly. Our sheets were even deep enough to cover our mattress and the 4" foam. (Deep pocket sheets a must!!) It was very comfortable and we found that we did not get up every morning with sore backs. It was an excellent choice for us and saved us $800 we would have spent on a new mattress! I would highly recommend buying the 4" topper. Now our bed is so comfortable, we can hardly force ourselves out of it in the morning!!!!

We are very please with our 4 inch Memory Foam Mattress topper. It took several night to adjust, but now everything is great.. The odor was gone within 24 hours before we placed the topper on our bed. We are using it in place of the foam underneath the cover of our Select Comfort mattress. It fits just great.

I was receiving physical therapy for a back problem. I could not sleep in bed at all. The therapist recommended if my mattress was a few years old that I add a memory foam topper. I chose this four inch thick one from Overstock and so far it has worked well for me. I am now back sleeping in bed instead of a recliner chair, and my husband also likes it. I have not had it very long so don't know how it will do for the long hall (thus the four star rating), but right now I am happy.

If you are a person who sleeps in one position or on your back, this is the mattress topper for you! I don't stay in one position all night. I tend to sleep on one side then the other. It feels so comfe at first but I keep waking up when I want to turn over. My husband didn't like it at all. I put a heavy duty mattress cover on it and it helped some. Remember, there is no return on memory foam unless it is damaged. I have always got the 2" or 2.5" topper and was very pleased. I guess I'll go back to that. The price is great on any of overstocks toppers. Keep up the good work overstock!!!

Soft and cushy is not for everyone. It is for me. I've got serious arthritis in both hips and a bad back. I can sleep on my sides only. My regular mattress is a pillow top, but it's 15 years old and has lost its cush. Too much hip pressure was resulting in increasing sleep difficulties. Without the finances for a fancy memory foam type mattress, I figured I'd give this inexpensive method a shot. I'm glad I did. The closest way to describe it is to imagine the most comfortable sofa you ever slept on, then think of that being the surface of your entire bed. My hips can sink in comfortably and significantly longer periods of uninterrupted sleep have returned. Is it the same feel as the $2000+ memory foam mattresses or the 4-$500 memory and latex toppers available? No, of course not. It doesn't do what the hand picture does! I ordered the 4in topper and based on the reviews, the cover as well. The topper arrived incredibly fast, 4 days after ordering. Since the cover took an extra week, I got to experience the topper by itself for a week. It's ok alone. However, the cover is great. It smooths the bumpy appearance and feel, but really gives the whole bed the true sofa experience I love. Last point, since the cover restricts air availability, the rebound to flat will be very slow. For me this is not a factor, especially for the price.

I love this topper! You could sleep on the floor with it and never know the hard ground was beneath you. However, it is not firm- so go with a 4-lb. density or higher if you don

I bought this mattress topper for my daughter and son-in-law. They are very satisfied and thoroughly happy to have this addition tp their bed. The only problem was the smell of the topper when it was removed from the plastic and box. It needed airing out for a few days.

I have purchased other foam mattress products in the past that have been very good. This particular one is hard as a rock. You slowly sink into it after you lie dow, but then rolling over is quite difficult as you have to roll up onto the hard part again. I would defintely not recommend this to anyone - try another brand.

I had bought a mattress topper for my bed at home. Which is wonderful. I bought this serta topper for a guest bedroom. The first topper must have been another brand, as the serta is to soft to give any support. I'm very disappointed in the serta topper and will not buy another serta.

I purchased this for my sister that stays during the week to take care of our mother. She says she sleeps very comfortable.Can't say much for the portable bed I bought her to put it on. That broke in a week (didn't buy it from here). Will ck to see if there is one here . All in all were happy w/ the mattress.

I order this item twice. Different material came in the next time. This other material not as nice. Watch what you get. Also when ordering the second order I received the wrong size. The bx stated a different size aswell. Check what you get.

A really awesome product. This topper has transformed my old, thin, cheap futon mattress into a luxurious , truly comfy nights rest. I couldn't be happier ( and I am pretty pickie about these things)

Hi Shopper, I'm writing this report because it has been such a blessing. Rarely do we get a product true to description. Worth every penny and my friend had me purchase a twin for him. He has a lot of shrapnel from Vietnam and in geat pain. We are both now getting better sleep. I have Complex sleep Apnia, Mayo clinic doesn't know how to even properly treat, but this Serta Memory foam has helped. There are many problems to my sleep problem but pain is one of the most powerful. Even on 19cm c-pap for the past 2 years it has been the comfort of this topper that has given me a level of relaxation. I have a theraputic mattress, but the topper tops it off. I like the topper better than the mattress because one tends to sink in the foam and that creates the morning pain from trying to crawl out of the bed. The topper limits that problem to minimal. Good luck and rest easy.

This mattress topper was an easy and inexpensive way to add a layer of comfort to an uncomfortable mattress. The firmness of the mattress topper seems to coincide with the warmth of the room. The warmer the room, the softer the topper. I removed the plastic and left the topper to unroll as directed. The directions said that it would take about an hour, but it took six hours, probably because it had been in a very cold truck or in a cold delivery warehouse over the weekend. I bought the queen size and it did not totally cover my queen mattress...about an inch short in both length and width. With the sheets on, the lack of size is not noticeable.

This was our second purchase for the 4" memory foam for our bed. The first one was a little bit firmer than this purchase, but overall okay. Our first purchase of the foam lasted two years.

It took some getting used to, like several nights sleeping on it...but now, I like the comfort...fits to your body..only thing my dog will not lie on it, as it moves underneath him...poor Nicholas...(oh well)..b.j.

I ordered this 4" topper for my mother who has a bad back. It is very dense and weighs about 35 pounds. When you unpack it, it will look strange. There was absolutely no smell at all. We unrolled it carefully and let it lay on the bed. We came back to check on it about 20 minutes later and it had filled out and looked perfect. As she has allergies to some smells and products she left it out for a couple of days, then put it on the bed. She has told me that she likes it a lot and it is very supportive to her when she sleeps. The grandchildren also love to lay on, and sleep in the bed. They enjoy that it springs back up after they press down on it. I would recommend this topper highly. I had previously bought a 2" topper for my bed (which I am very pleased with), and now wish that I had chosen the 4" one.

You sure do sink into this one! We bought this for our daughter and my husband and I tried it out on her bed first. I liked it, but my husband had trouble moving around and it freaked him out! Our daughter LOVES it! She is 13 and she says she sleeps in one position the entire night. I guess you need to make sure you want to sleep like you are being craddled before you buy this.
