This mattress is sheer heaven! Having disc herniations, I had resorted to sleeping on an air mattress. After my second air mattress failed me in a matter of 3 months, my plan was to buy a coiled mattress. When I saw the price that Overstock was offering for this memory foam mattress, I read the reviews which were very helpful and convincing. Mine arrived in just 4 days! The box is about 6' long and 18" wide, and I'm happy that another reviewer warns about it being rolled up. It actually made it very easy for me to handle by myself without needing any help. Within seconds of peeling off the wrapping, it started to reinflate itself. The packing says that it takes a full 48-72 hours to come back to it's original size before it was decompressed, but mine was plump and plush within a few hours! Sleeping on it is absolute heaven. Thanks Overstock for making this luxury so affordable. I recomend it highly!

I ordered this mattress 2/2009 and waited a year (2/2010) to review. I dislike this mattress greatly. It's way too soft, there is no support. My back is constantly knotted up and I am about to order another mattress (yes, again, from Overstock, I hope I have better luck this time!) I would not recommend it at all. It's completely turned me off of memory foam/foam/whatever you want to call it. (Btw, memory??? Not in my case!)

great product. ready for my grateful, tired body within 48 hours of delivery. i'd been curious about the memory foam approach to sleep for several years but was priced out of the opportunity to try it. until this product. at this price. thank you, overstock.

First of all.... you can not beat the price and shipping on Overstock seriously rules - $2.95 for a mattress...wwwhhhaaaa?! Be sure to look up an online coupon code for Overstock - I think I ended up saving $15 bucks or so with one of those. It was delivered without issue by UPS within the given time frame. It comes in a box not too big for one strong-ish person and is super easy to unwrap. Try to find a use for the ginormous piece of plastic it's wrapped in, the thought of throwing that stuff in the garbage makes my head spin! I'm using it to weather-proof some deck furniture. The smell goes away within a day or two, and is not as bad if you get sheets on it right after it unfolds itself all the way. The mattress itself is super comfortable, I've noticed an improvement with a few minor back issues after about 3 weeks of use. It does retain a lot of heat - enough to where we don't even use on of our previously used quilts. I know we've only been sleeping on it for 3 weeks or so, but it still has all of it's wonderful "memory" and bounces right back to it's original shape seconds after you get up or change positions. I know this might be strange to hear - but for girls with big b00bs who like to sleep on their stomachs - it's wonderful! The "girls" just sink on in there - so comfortable. Hey, it would have been a selling point had I read it prior to purchase! :) Great mattress, great price - thanks Overstock!

The mattress came just as I expected. I let it open (and air) itself for several days, and it came to full size. My old innerspring mattress and box springs were used for nearly 25 years and sagging, so I built a solid foundation for my memory foam mattress with 5/8" plywood and 2x6's. The surface of the new mattress is very comfortable, but I think the mattress is lacking strength in the support foam. I experience a bit of a hammock effect, and I'm 5'8" tall and weigh only 165 lbs. Unlike my old mattress, my surface muscles (shoulders and hips) are not sore in the morning, but the weak support from the base layer causes my lower back to be a little sore if I sleep on my side. Bottom line - The 3" memory foam layer is great, but I would like a firmer 7" support layer.

My first foam mattress and I wished I've invested in one before. This is an investment into your health because ever since I've had my foam mattress my sleep has been better. I now wake up more refreshed.

Bought the Full size for the guest bedroom, so far it's working out great. It was a breeze to set up,expanded fully within the first hour. I noticed very little odor. So far everyone who has slept on it has commented on how comfortable it is. Don't know how well it will hold up, as I haven't had it that long, but I'm hoping for the best!

I purchased this mattress about a month ago. Could not pass up on the price and the good reviews for this product. It arrived very quickly, had that professional soft but firm supportive feel to it and I believed I had made a good purchase. A month later (the present) the bed is a disaster. There is no more support or firmness. I simply sink deep into the bed in the areas I'm used to sleeping in. It is easy to see why I only payed how much I did. The quality of the bed is just not good at all. Please do yourself a huge favor and do not buy this bed. You will regret it.

This mattress is great! I have been hunting for a new mattress for some time and wanted to try a memory foam mattress to see what all the hype was about. I let the mattress expand for a little over 24 hours before putting any weight on it. Once the time went by needed to expand fully it was perfect! Not to hard not to soft! Let it fully expand, even if it looks almost completely expanded let it finish for a little over a day. it does take some getting used to compared to a spring mattress but its worth it! Get matching memory foam pillows too! wont regret it!

I purchased this product for my daughter and her husband and they have had nothing but positive comments about the shipping experience, it's quality and comfort. I will purchase another for my son in the future.

This mattress was a great price and is really quite comfortable. I am not use to the memory foam, and there is a little pain now and then in the mornings. But overall you can't beat this price!

I bought this mattress for my 9 years old daughter, she used to have problems to sleep before, but now she says that she sleeps like a queen. She loves the softness of the mattress, not too soft not too firm. Great buy!

I bought each of my kids these due to the fact they are to be great for allergies compared to normal matresses. They are wonderful! The only complain is the smell after it pops out of the box- we left it in the room with a hepa filter and by morning the smell disappeared. Comfortable and kids are sleeping thru the night!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this product. This was my first ever purchase of mattress and turned out to be something worth of your money. I have been using this mattress for 3 months now and there are no sign of sagging or something. It was easy to assemble the mattress and its is going strong so far. I will keep posting though of how much its life is!I will highly recommend it to people who are choosy about the product they buy.

I was a bit concerned when I placed my order due to other reviews with the smell issue. I need not have worried, the smell disappeared within a few days. Very easy to set up. It flattened out in about 10 minutes and I could have slept on it the same day (I didn't have any full size sheets so I didn't sleep on it until the next night). My daughter has also slept on the bed and found it to be very comfortable as have I. Excellent price and would recommend to anyone, the only thing I have noticed was that it never expanded to the full size length (its about an inch shorter) but that really doesn't bother me, just thought I would mention it.

Had some issues with the shipment of my mattress but that's unrelated to the item itself. Mattress came out of the box and filled out almost immediately. The smell was easily covered up by a fitted sheet and was gone within a day or so.This is a firm mattress, so if you're looking for a foam mattress with a little more give then consider another option. If a firm mattress is what you like (like me), then this is a great choice!
