My boyfriend has a really heavy, expensive 2" version of this product and I hate sleeping at his house because of it. You sink so far into the thing that if you turn during the night you will wake up with major back pain. This one however, gives you the comfort of a memory foam mattress but with the firmness of your own mattress. I have already talk one of my friends into buys the same thing and she loves it too.

I bought these foam toppers for our lakehouse beds, because they were so hard and uncomfortable. Our first weekend with guests at the lake, found us waiting and waiting for everyone to get up and get out of bed. Everyone, finally woke up, and said it was the best and most comfortable nights rest they had, had in along time. My sister-in-law is getting ready to order some for herself. The only drawback is they are missing the best part of the day at the lake - birds singing, fish jumping, sunrise, laughing out loud! Thank You, Overstock.com, maybe they should package these things with a crowbar so I have something to pry everyone out of bed with. They truly were a success!!

I just bought this on 10/15 and love it! It gives my really hard bed some softness but not too much. Before this I had a feather bed and it always had a big ditch in the middle and i could never get it to spread out evenly. This product is much better.

My daughter had an inflatable mattress that she was using and it was very cold sleeping on a layer of air. We got the topper - just one inch of memory foam was enough to make a world of difference. Seemed a bit pricey for what it was but maybe it will last forever - so far, so good anyway.

I bought this for my grandson's bed. It has been everything that I expected it to be. It is very comfortable and makes his ordinary bed feel like a pillow top mattress. This is the second one that I have purchased. I love it! Thanks, Overstock.

The pad was less dense than I expected but my guests were due the next day so I decided to keep it. I used the pad on my sofa bed mattress and for the first time the guest raved about the comfort of the mattress.

Made the worst bed in the house the one everyone wants to sleep on now. Bought the King size and folded it over for twice the thickness. It's amazing!

this pad is comfy and worth the price. The only thing I don't care for is that it doesn't have any straps that you can attach it to the bed with. So it puckers after a little while, but you can just smooth it back down. I would buy this again.

I needed a memory foam mattress topper for my youngest, who actually needs a new mattress. However, to make his current mattress more comfy until the lottery comes through for me, I bought him this topper. He is 9 and loves it. I actually bought the King size and doubled it on his Twin bed. We put a mattress pad over the top to hold it in place and it works perfectly. Didn't take long to fully expand and the smell went away quickly. I'm happy, he's happy, it's all good!

I bought this mattress topper for my 16yr old's full size bed. She constantly complained about the discomfort of her mattress and after reading the reviews for this product I decided to give it a try. She is very happy with the mattress topper. She says the mattress is much softer and much more comfortable. She did not want to wait for the topper to fully regain it's shape after opening, but that did not seem to affect it all..I haven't heard a complaint as yet!! I was going to purchase a whole new mattress but I think I can hold off for a bit..Even if I do buy a new mattress I will use this as a mattress topper..So far, so good!

My teenage son is a large fellow; and has the tendency to pull his fitted sheet off the bed while tossing and turning. Even though he has a very good pillowtop mattress and boxspring set, he has had trouble sleeping through the night. Before getting crazy with pricey mattress toppers, I wanted to see what, if any impact a memory foam topper might provide. So, after a lot of comparison shopping, I bought this one from Overstock.com; and, it was delivered in 5 days. Due to the comparatively cheap price, I was expecting one of those smelly, 'foamy' toppers...and not true memory foam. To my delight, I received a product that showed real density, support and elasticity. The actual test came the 1st night, when my son slept on it...and, sleep he did! Although just 1", this topper provided him with just the right amount of extra support/comfort; and, provided a gripping layer between the mattress and fitted sheet. If you are in the market for a topper that provides comfort and support...but, don't want to spend a lot...then this is the one for you. I am very pleased with every aspect of this product, and the transaction with Overstock.com.

The picture is misleading. Yet, I find this foam to be perfect for me. I prefer firm mattresses and this foam adds comfort without making the mattress too soft.

I purchased this memory foam, not knowing what I'd really get. I was very pleasantly surprised and it was a real bargain! It made my night's sleep so much more pleasurable and restful. I could really feel the difference. I placed it on top of my mattress pad and now I have a very luxurious night's sleep! I recommend it to all of my friends. Thanks overstock.com! A few months ago we ordered a memory foam mattress from Overstock and we liked it so much we decided to get another one for our RV. When I've looked at comparable mattresses in the stores they always cost more. It's surprising how a 1 inch foam mattress can make such a wonderful difference in the comfort.

Overall this is a great product for side sleepers who might be experiencing mild back pains with their current bed. I've had this topper for about a month now and my lower back pains have essentially disappeared.I bought a new mattress and starting having mild back pains. I used to enjoy side sleeping so that I could snuggle with my partner. However, after getting my new mattress, the only way I could comfortably sleep was flat on my back without good snuggling with my partner. This topper added the extra balanced support needed for me to sleep on my side comfortably. The 1" thickness doesn't seem much right out of the package, but it really makes a world of difference.The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it's almost too soft to sleep on my back and I'm forced to sleep on my side to get maximum comfort. I can still sleep on my back, but if I go multiple nights on my back, it starts to hurt. This problem really seems to come from the difference between memory foam and regular mattresses. You can cut up what you don't want and use in pillows, etc.

When I stay at my boyfriend's house, the bed we sleep on hurts my back and sometimes my whole body when I wake up. It is a new mattress so I was not sure what the problem is. He said it was fine and it did not bother him. So, I wanted to add some extra comfort to the mattress and saw the 1 inch foam mattress. It had a small smell but like they said, it will fade in a few days after you let it sit, no biggie. It is comfortable but I think a 2 inch would have worked better. My back will still hurt but not as bad. Good for the price though.

Theis memory foam has hardly any memory at all and it is certainly not like the picture that was shown with the product. Buyer beware if it is cheap it mostly likely is an inferior product and not worth the money nor the name "memory".

These one inch memory foam mattress toppers were perfect for our motor home as added comfort for the sleeping areas. The twin fit the sofa nicely even with two sleeping on it; the standard/double fit the upper sleeping area without taking away head space and without losing "floatation ability" after being folded up for travel. After 2 full weeks of airing out this memory foam mattress, there was still a significant odor problem. We tried putting it on the bed one night after this 2 weeks and was bothered by the smell, so we got up at midnight and took it off. We ended up needing to return it just because of the odor.
