For years I had resisted purchase of a foam topper. I have always liked sleeping on a very firm surface though my wife is partial to a softer mattress. We finnally agreed to try this product. It took several weeks for me to adjust to the change but now my nights sleep are much more restful. Even at my age, I now sleep through the night and I am now glad that I finally made the switch. This is certainly less expensive than investing in a new mattress.
We are so pleased with this mattress. We purchased a very expensive pillow-top mattress last October (8 months ago) and it already had sunken places in it. I was waking up stiff and sore every morning. This mattress has made an amazing difference. I am sleeping much better and wake up feeling refreshed. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I plan to buy another one for our guest room. Everyone at our house deserves to sleep this well!
We purchased this for my mother in law. She has extensive hip pain and also arthritis all over and has been sleeping (but not well and not through the night) in a recliner for over a year. The first night on top of the topper on a hospital bed mattress, she slept almost nine hours straight! This topper is great - terrific support and you can't "feel" the mattress underneath. Highly recommend this product!
Bought this topper as a replacement for our queen size feather topper. What a fantastic choice. I had amemory soft topper years ago that was terribly hot and was about 2 inches thick. Bad decision.The Overstock memory topper fit our queen bed perfectly, no odor, and as a previous writer noted, you won't want to leave your bed in the morning. For the first time in my many years, I have found a mattress topper that calms my aches and soreness. I can't remember the last time I slept this well.I rate this topper as two thumbs up!.
I really like this 'Mem-Cool' 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper! It's very comfortable, without being too soft, it doesn't absorb and store body heat like I thought it might, so I don't get overheated, which is great as this was a concern before buying it. The 'odor' that peope had mentioned was minimal and dissipated quickly, within the first few days, so again this wasn't an issue. This topper is made specifically for Overstock. I was surprised as I didn't know Overstock had their own brand. I think I was short changed in the sizing of the topper. I ordered a 4 inch depth, Queen bed size, but it's most definitely smaller than my standard queen bed size by several inches all round. It's also a 3 inch depth, not a 4 inch, even after allowing 72 hours (48 is recommended) for full expansion after unpacking from the shrink packing it arrives in. It clearly stated on the box that it was a Queen bed size, 4 inch so I know there wasn't an error in what was sent. The size appearance of this item is the reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars.
