Good value for this product. We went from using a 3" memory foam topper to this 1", and honestly, the comfort is provides is fairly compariable. It offers just enough support without overdoing it (the 3" was just too much). And the 'cool' feature is great - it really doesn't create the heat that our old topper did. As with all of these foam products, it does tend to discolor and mark easily, but that does not affect the function of the product. Bought one for us and one for our daughter and son-in-law - all of us are sleeping a little better now and we are having a lot less complaints of aches and pains in the morning.
I ordered this 1" thick memory foam topper for my new queen size bed which has firm support. I wanted a memory mattress topper that provided just enough softness and this one is perfect for my firm mattress. While most memory foam tends to retain body heat and could get quite hot to sleep on in a warm weather, this foam topper does not get me sweaty in summer nights in NYC. I took up on a reviewer's recommendation and ordered Cali King size and folded the edges down which provided me more mattress space than the actual size mattress. I highly recommend ordering Cali King size if you have a full or queen size mattress. If needed, you can always trim the sides and make the topper custom-fitted.Overall, I am very happy with this product. You will be too.
The foam mattress topper does what it's described to do. I don't feel overly warm when I wake up in the morning and it gives a bit of support. My only regret is that I probably should have shelled out more for a 2-inch topper because I am a side-sleeper and I could have used that extra support. I recently moved with the topper and it was easy to tear little holes into it, so just be aware that it's not the most durable material. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and do feel that I sleep more comfortably than I did without it.
I purchased this to go on top of my exsisting memory foam mattress because it is so hot in the summer. The topper is softer than my mattress, and it's good quality for the price. But unfortunately I don't notice the difference in temp...it still holds the body heat. If your wanting this as a topper for comfort, it's good. But if you want something cooler than regular memory foam, this doesn't do it.
I purchased this for my new pillowtop mattress, which doesn't support my back. I chose this one for its density and "cool memory foam" factor. It fits my mattress perfectly (some are improperly sized). I have had a 2 in on another bed and this one is definately better for pillowtops. Also, I am in Florida and really appreciate the cool foam on this, there is a difference. My back doesn't hurt any more and I'm sleeping much better.
