I shopped long and hard looking for a new comforter. I loved the picture and I have a dark bed so thought it would be a good mix. While I do love the colors and feel they are pretty well represented by the picture, they aren't quite as vibrant as I had expected -- not that that is a bad thing necessarily -- it looks a little bit more old fashioned than I had expected...I think it is the almost carpet/tapestry feel of the material. The sides are a little long for my bed....I do have the deep pocket mattress but maybe not as deep as some. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned the weight can be an issue. I didn't really think it would matter to me, especially since I don't like the real light comforters that slide off the bed easily, but this one is truly so heavy that it can be a little difficult to handle when making the bed and also not the best to sleep under. The accessory pillows are beautiful and really do make a beautiful set along with the bedskirt. I did like it well enough not to return it, but I have to say that before I purchased it I chatted on line with a representative who assured me that it was a returnable product. One of the reviewers mentioned a problem on attempting to return it. My understanding was that as long as it was unused and returned in new condition it wouldn't be a problem. I also think that as the picture shows, cream color sheets would be the prettiest with it. As far as quality of the product, I certainly feel that everything in the set is very well made and of great quality so far. I've had it for about a month and haven't noticed any wear issues. Also, the product came way earlier than the estimated arrival date. I would definitely shop with overstock.com again.
Got this just in time for winter. It is real heavy so if you don't like that this is not for you. The under side is a pretty shocking red but the top is a nice rust color the dust ruffle is a nice muted green. You don't really see the under side much so it doesn't bother me. The fabric is rich filling I'm pleased specialy for the price.

This was an excellent buy. The colors are represented well, and the workmanship is better than I thought it would be. I like the fact that the pillow covers can be removed for cleaning. I have a pet and I believe this will be durable enough to hold up to the abuse. I also haved two grandchildren that puts it to the test.
This is the most uncomfortable comforter I have ever purchased, It weighs a ton so forget about sleeping under it. The colors are very faded and are not as pictured. The texture is so rough you may as well be sleeping with burlap. AND I tried to return it and guess what??? It is non-returnable!!! A waste of $200.00 plus dollars!!!! My bedroom set was ruined thanks to Hurricane Ike and now this!! BEWARE!!!
