    These things are soooo difficult to set up. I have above ground garden and hooked up several of these together to conserve water and to be able to water at the base of the plants to prevent meldew. They are flat, so once you zig zag or get even the slightest bend in the hose, all water flow stops. And you have to make extreme sure there are absolutely no twists, kinks, bends, etc and then check it each and every time you turn on the water to make sure the water pressure doesn't cause any of the above listed issues. Once a kink or twist is in the hose you have to work it ALL the way through the entire extent of the hose.... no matter how many hoses are connected. VERY time consuming. Great concept, poor construction....

    I have used many different types of soaker hoses, this one is my favorite by far. I bought the first one in 2009, I still use it. As long as you don't use too much water pressure, it will last a long time.

    I buried the soaker about 2" into the ground. It's easy to make turns with it and it lays flat in the dirt. It sends water out through tiny holes about an inch apart. It seems to work as advertised. Best thing is how it stays in place and delivers water.

    • Hello edge13, it is suggested that you use a timer for the most efficient use of water. There are recommendations that you use a back flow preventer if you don't already have one on your faucet as well as a pressure regulator for 10-12 psi.
