I recently purchased the sun sail for a cottage on a lake in northern michigan. We get full sun on our front porch all day. I am amazed at the difference this shade has made. It really is alot cooler on the porch now and we can even sit under it in lawn chairs. Plus it even looks cool from the lake.

Pretty small size
I ordered this item to have a cool shade for my car, but it is smaller that I thought it was. The dimensions are not so clear in the description. It says 11Ft (traingle) and really it is a 4 1/2' x 4 1/2' x 4 1/2'. I needed 10x10x10...

Garden Sail
One rater stated that the size was 4 1/2 feet each side so,,,,when we opened ours today we were delighted that it is an equilateral triangle with all three sides of equal length . Each side is 11 ft.10 in. Making this a huge amount of shade. One corner of our house is extremely warm in the afternoon, during the summer months. This is the perfect solution. Very good quality with all parts included.

Triangle Sail Sun Shade
I purchased two Triangel Sails and I am amazed at how well they work and have solved our sun problem. They are well made. Come with all items needed to install (had to purchase some chain to reach the trees). Easy installation. I am so happy with this produce I am ordering another for our home in Florida.

Sun Shade
Love it! While it stretches a little during a rain, it dries well and quickly shrinks back up to it's regular size! Only had it up for a couple of months, but makes sitting outside very comfortable, and nicely diffuses the sun, but allows the breeze which allows us to sit outside during the middle of the day and enjoy the outdoors! Great buy!

Sturdy and attractive
Nice looking shade (I bought it in beige.) Works well for a patio or deck. The triangle doesn't provide quite enough coverage for four chairs, and I'd buy the larger size next time.

Great product especially for the price!
The product is exactly as it is described on the website. Each side is 11' 10" (I've noticed multiple reviews debating this issue). It came with all of the hardware to install the sunshade. The directions were decent although there could have been a few more details for a triangle shade ... it pretty much only depicted the square shade being installed. We also recommend getting your own lead anchors to install the hooks into your house especially if you have concrete block or stucco. The ones they provide do not stay in place. The material and quality of the product is even better than we expected and much better than those that are sold at the major home improvement stores for almost the same price. It's fairly easy to install, although it takes time because you have to keep adjusting the cord length and tightening brackets until it's taut. Make sure that you provide enough room between your supports! We are using this with 3 rope extensions (i.e. not a direct connection to any one support). This will make the product even though taut, still move in the wind. If you can put 1 or more as direct attachments to the support brackets (i.e. no rope extensions), that would probably be best for the life of the product.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color and texture are excellent. The material is slightly shiny when the light hits it, which is really pretty at night.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It's extremely well made and durable. Installation although time consuming, wasn't that difficult. We do recommend using different anchors into your house than those that were provided.
