These were very nice but I returned them. Wasn't the color I was looking for.Read More
I recently purchased a new bed ensemble but unfortunately, no curtains were available. So, I went in search of something to coordinate. When I found these curtains, I thought ...they just might do it! Luckily for me, they are perfect in color and add just the right amount of texture. They are up on the windows and look just great!Read More
Fabric looks very expensive. They hang beautifully and didn't even need ironing.Read More
I was very disappointed to open my package from overstock today to find two supposedly identical curtain panels that did not match. The embroidery for the trellis pattern on one is beige like the description states and on the second is a blue/green color. Now having to return and reorder and hoping to get matching panels. What a pain! Should have just gone to bed bath and beyond or something. Lesson learned, hopefully the rug I ordered at the same time looks like the description....Read More
I ordered the antique blue color because I thought it would somewhat resemble the large photo, but it looked nothing like it. The description says that the detail is beige and not gold and that is completely correct, there is no pop to it whatsoever, it's just dull, and looks nothing like the photo, which shows the detail as glistening. But the "antique blue" is probably worse. It is NOT the shade of light blue shown on the photo (although I recognize that computer monitors differ). To give you an idea of the color, let me just say that when I opened the box my first thought was, "I think they sent me the gray curtains by accident." The color is really a gray blue. I can't speak as to the quality; just beware if you're relying on it to be a specific color.Read More
These curtains seem to be decent quality (didn't take them out of the package) but the pattern on the cream color is the same color as the background so isn't visible. Possibly in one of the other colors they would have the look I was hoping for.Read More
I am a huge Overstock fan and will continue to order from them. That being said these curtains were the first time I have ever had to send the item back. I had ordered the curtains in Antique Blue. On the computer the Antique Blue appears to have a teal/ light blue undertone which is what I was wanting. The curtains that I received where more of a navy/grayish blue, NOTHING close to the color that is portrayed on the computer. Overstock was very helpful in letting me send them back. Please note, the colors are not accurate.Read More
The curtains were a great value. If you want more light to be blocked you will need a shade or blinds behind them. I combined the drapes with a drape scarf at the top which gave a finished look.Read More
These are beautiful curtains. They hang well, and were easy to put up. Their appearance is very elegant and sophisticated. The embroidery is a nice contrast. I got the Federal Blue and it was very true to the color in the photo.Read More

How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
Top 5 Bedroom Curtain Ideas
Use curtains to enhance and customize your bedroom. Even if you already have window blinds or shades, curtains is an inexpensive way to create a cohesive look throughout a space and tie together a specific color scheme. Use vintage-style curtains featuring embroidered details for a charming look or hang lace window treatments for a romantic room. Gauzy curtains will catch the breezes during warm summer months, while heavy cotton window treatments will block out excess light and heat.
How to Install Blackout Curtains
Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.
