First off, this does NOT need to be professionally rewired. It comes with a standard polarized plug and it has an on/off thumb switch on the translucent cord. It is simply gorgeous, but must be seen on (I used a 40w true color ceiling fan bulb) to be truly appreciated. I actually ordered another once I saw how wonderful this one was - at my husband's request!

There is no assembly required basicaly just put the globe on the stand and plug in. It looks very nice on my patio and accents my plants beautifuly. A great little lamp for the money

I purchase two of these spot lights for our game room. They are quite impressive. The are nice on and off and have a nice range of colors. If I had somewhere to put more, I'd buy more. You won't regret purchase this item.

i have a great deal of art work on the walls and would love to have a dozen of these lamps to spot for me. Perfect!
