The stand is not straight, i.e. the screw in lengths did not fit together well making the rods uneven; the light is also very heavy and there make the light "top heavy"
I was looking for an inexpensive corner lamp with color that was also contemporary/modern...I love this lamp. It gives off a red glow to the room and also adds enough light for my corner. It's heavy and sturdy and the glass shade is better in color than I expected. Overstock is always prompt in shipping. I recieved it two days after ordering!
