  I had to wait for this item to be offered again as I hesitated to order the first time. Glad I purchased it! It is heavy and stable and looks great with our TV console. It looks more like a pedestal and cannot tell its a storage piece. Wish I had room for another one.

  This item was purchased for my Mom who was moving into a studio apt. in a Retirement Community. It was used for her many Family photos and other collectibles. She loved it,and got several compliments from the staff.

  I bought this product for the way it appeared in the photo and it's size. I assumed that when O.com said wood it would not be medium density fiberboard. It took me hours to assemble all the drawers and then the main structure. At the end I was assembling the metal looking base which is really silver painted MDF and it was cracking as I slowly put in the screws. It cracked in a few other places as I put in screws as well - I did not over tighten - it just is not well made. I have it up and loaded and am just grateful that it's standing and the drawers all work fine. So I guess it's BUYERS BEWARE - when the copy says "durable wood" it's really just sawdust and wood particles press together.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The product was a piece of junk. I thought it would have some wood, some MDF and some metal. The entire thing is MDF including the base which appears metal in the photo.

  The shelf went together pretty easily, though it did take a bit of time. The back panels were the biggest challenge. They had to be lined up just right in order to avoid chipping the unit on the front side when hammering the small nails through. I had to glue a couple of chips back to the shelf material and when the shelfs where loaded up with our stuff you did not notice the repair work. Be sure to use the wall anchor, especially if the unit is to sit on plush carpet as ours does, it is quite top heavy. Putting heavier books on the bottom shelves helps a bit. It looks great and we would buy the unit again!

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. All of the predrilled holes assembled easily. The only issue was getting the back panels lined up just right so the small nails would not chip at entry.
