These dishes are very pretty and almost delicate so if you have a "bull in your china shop" you may want to put that person on duty wiping counters instead of loading/unloading the dish washer. I say "almost delicate" because we went from a durable stone ware set to this and have had several chips because we were used to the other type of dishes. These take a bit more care, but I would definitely purchase again.

This was a housewarming gift for my daughter - she chose it with me and is thoroughly pleased. It's a classicly simple pattern that can easily be used with other pieces. We used it for our Thanksgiving dinner and the table looked beautiful. I wish there were serving pieces available as well. The value is excellent.

I have been looking for a fine china set that was similar to the ones used in fine restaurants, and that would not break the bank. This one fits the bill. Beautiful workmanship, clear white color, dishwasher safe, and very elegant.I bought 2 sets, and I am considering buying a third one, just in case I break one of the pieces.

These are super-thin plates. They are not sturdy - I feel like they will break everytime I use them/put them away. I would not buy these again.

Lovely transparency, color, and very attractive shape. High quality china with not a single defect - a much higher grade than the comparably priced bone china sets in the department stores. Be careful with the rims - porcelain chips less than stoneware, but bone china is still fragile.

I didnt know much about this type of dinner china. I however took a chance and orderd two sets. They arrived and I was pleasently supprised. They came very quick with NO DAMAGE AT ALL . Lets get to the quality very very nice very even and almost translucent with just the write color.These can be used for every day and would double for a fine place setting as well with a lot of potential to be jazzed up with the addition of various colors of other place settings. In short this is a grear value that one could only expect by spending much more.

I love, love this set of dinnerware. They are everything that was described, the price was right on and they provide such an elegant presentation. Nothing looks bad on these plates! Even PB&J sandwiches! I have already recommended them to several of my friends. I know they won't be disappointed either!

I love this China, in 3 words ELEGANT, CONTEMPORARY, TIMELESS ! This china makes my table look classy and beautiful, without looking like my Mom's China or too fancy. Very modern China. First I purchase 2 boxes, love them so much I now owned 4 sets.

As almost all reviewers have said, this is indeed a great dinnerware set for the price. I did much internet and local searching as well as reading all the other Overstock reviews about this set. I am really pleased with my purchase. It's elegant, clean lines give it a modern and timeless look, which makes it easy to match with other tableware settings. It does look just as in the photo - perhaps not such a brilliant white - but that does not detract from it's appearance. All the plate sizes are "generous" but not over large. I also use the soup bowl as a pasta bowl and the dessert plate as a "bread and butter" plate. So far after about 3 weeks of daily use there has been no chips, cracks or discolorations and all pieces have been fine in the dishwasher. The 2 sets I got came individually boxed with no breakages and arrived very quickly.

As usual, Overstock proved to be the best place to buy value and high quality items. This set is very delicate in looks and durable in wear. I would have purchased another one if it didn't sell out! Thank you Overstock!

I love the china althought I haven't used them yet - waiting to move to our new home. The china appears to be durable and strong and looks fabulous. Excellent packaging prevented chipping or cracking. Everything arrived in tact.

This china was great on line and even better when it arraived. I got two sets, both arraived beautifully packed and the shipping was very fast . I love the way it feels and looks, my family likes very much as well. I definately recomend it to anyone who is looking for a very nice everyday use durable china.

Received these beautiful dishes last week. Love the look and they stand up well in the dishwasher also. I've been using them everyday, this set just has nice clean lines and they look wonderful eating off them! I'm thinking of buying another set for when we have Easter at home and so that I'll have enough for dinner parties. So glad that I purchased these. My first set of China!! If you're tring to decide whether to buy or not. Just get them, you'll love them!

These plates are well worth the money and more. Simple design yet beautiful and delicate what you expect from bone china. The only thing is I wish it would have come with a creamer and sugar bowl and my set would be complete. I bought two sets and I'm thinking about another for replacements. Would make an excellent gift for any occasion. Do not hesitate to purchase these dishes.

I was looking for something practical for occasions from everyday to a party buffet and these dishes offer great versatility for an unbelievable price. I wish every young bride would consider something like this as they start off rather than choosing an expensive, distinctively trendy china that they'll likely never use despite the great investment. This would be a great alternative while they formulate their long-term tastes. This has the lightness, strength and beautiful color of bone chine, with a classic design that can be dressed up with a variety of other dish styles to create interesting and pretty table settings. The only disadvantage is that you have to do some searching to find matching serving pieces. Very satisfied.
