Received in record time and packaged well - doubled boxed. The chairs were as described - dark brown wood (almost black) with gold silk seats. I was very impressed with the quality - very sturdy. The chairs were better than the ones purchased at a local furniture store. I would highly recommend the product if this is your decor.

These chairs are a great value..exactly as described. Heavy, well constructed and easy to assemble.I would not hesitate to recommend these to any and all, as they would go head to head with some $300 chairs I have seen. Overstock rocks it ..again!!

My only concern with these is that we thought the seats were leather and instead are a nice silk material. My 2 year old son had one chair stained within seconds of assembly before we could scotch guard them. The seats are very comfortable though and they area a nice heavy dining room chair.

I looked at a lot of dining chairs and these chairs seemed to fit all our needs. I was so happy to see that the color of the wood was very dark, almost black. It was described as an espresso finish, but you never know until you see it in person. The chair cushions were also described as an antique gold, but again I was a little nervous. My monitor showed the color a little greenish, but I took the chance and was very happy that they were in fact gold in color. The workmanship was great. The price was great and delivery was 6 days from ordering to delivery. The chairs were double boxed so no damage was done in transit. It takes a little time to put these chairs together, but you will love the finished product. I love Overstock.
