I bought this mattress for my son and his wife and they love it. After reading the reviews, I ordered the soft and they say that it sleeps very good. They have slept on a soft side water bed for the past 12 years but wanted to try another brand name memory foam mattress. I suggested trying this mattress, first since the price was soooo right and it compared so well with the other mattress. Now, they are completely happy with comfort dreams and it may be another 12 years before they want another! Now, I want one!!

Recently moved out of my parents house and I was looking for a cheep mattress to make the move. Sleeping is something ever college student can appreciate so I didn't want to make too quick of a purchase. I ended up not having a mattress for a month after I move because I was being much to picky. Eventually I stumbled upon this mattress, a little pricey for a college student such as myself but it was so worth it! The mattress arrived much faster then I anticipated and even though it was a fairly heavy box (for a slight younger women) once I got it into my room I opened it up and rolled it out, after only a few short minutes it was ready to be slept on. The smell from the mattress wasn't all too bad and went away in less then a month. Of course I tried that glass of wine trick they did on the TV with the temper-pedic (using water instead just to be safe), you know the one were they put a glass of wine on one side of the bed and bonce one the other, and it was like magic no spill! Even though that feature isn't all that important in my case its still a cool touch. The most important thing to me is that I keep warm when sleeping, I usually have quite a few blankets, this mattress retains heat pretty well which was also a nice touch as well since it gets fairly cold at night here. I've had the mattress for about 3 months now and have no complaints. My friends love it too. I purchased the Medium firmness which is slightly firmer then I'm used to but I'm told that as these kind of mattresses grow older they become less firm and I plan on keeping it for a long time.

I HAVE SLEPT ON A WATER BED FOR THE LAST 25 YEARS DUE TO A MEDICAL CONDITION. I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD FIND A MATTRESS THAT WOULD LET ME HAVE A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP. I TOOK A CHANCE FROM THE GREAT REVIEWS ON THIS ONE AND I ORDERED THE SOFT ONE. I HAVE NEVER SLEPT THIS WELL AND I AM NOT TURNING AND TOSSING ALL NIGHT LONG. IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY DOOR IN A LITTLE OVER A WEEK . IT HAD NO ODOR AT ALL AND I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS 20 YEARS AGO. THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS I EVER SLEPT ON. I LOVE THAT IS HAS A COVER WITH A ZIPPER ON IT SO IT CAN BE WASHED!

I ordered a firm and it is firm. i would recommend something softer. i replaced a king size waterbed mattress and this appease about 5 to 6 inches wider. had to force it into water bed frame. may beak down and widen the water bed frame someday. it is comfortable.

I like the fact that you can adjust the layers to fit your need for firmness. Plus this is easy to move as compared to a real mattress, which I have already put to the test as I needed to clean the carpeting this was sitting upon. It was either this or a waterbed, and I did not really want the hassle of a heavy pool of water just waiting to cause a catastrophe (and it would be tough to move to boot).

My fiancee and I are very happy with this purchase. We had contemplated purchasing a Tempurpedic, or another high quality memory foam, and we are both happy we "tested the memory foam waters" with this one. We have only been sleeping on it about two weeks but so far, so good. We no longer disturb one another in our sleep, and I have never slept more soundly throughout the night. No complaints, and definitely think this mattress is a fairly priced.

Fits our water bed frame perfect like it was made for it. We love the mattress we both sleep better.

I bought a both twin and full for bunk beds for my young boys. We opened them and let them expand/deodorize for 3-4 days before we put them on the beds. The boys love them and sleep very well. The cover that is on them states that you should never remove it so we bought some water proof pads to cover them. Very happy with the product and delivery (took about 10 days from order to doorstep).

Due to back injury spring mattress is just not an option. I was also worried about my fiancé who is a human hot water bag. But no worries here I get such a full nights sleep that I am waking up before my alarm (5:30 am)... My fiancé my 65 lb husky and myself sleep on this bed and have never gotten too hot (in North Carolina). This mattress is like sleeping on a cloud.. We also have it on king box springs and it is perfect

Never had a new mattress in my life, but I have stayed in many five star hotels so I do have high end mattresses to compare with. Blew all of them out of the water. Why pay hundreds or thousands when this costs way less than a spring mattress. O.co shipped very quickly and I received tracking info almost immediately.

I thought I would be writing a negative review for the first two weeks that I slept on it. It was soo hard and i woke up aching worse than my old bed ever made me. Not sure if this really made the difference but I took off the water proof mattress pad i put on it to protect it right away and it became much softer like it needed to breath. My husband and I love it now! There is a lingering plastic smell that I can't clear from the room. Would love it to fade. Great price, love it delivered to my door and very happy with the purchase.

We purchased this mattress several months ago and it was so comfortable we got one for our other location. It was easy enough to open and put on the bed. Had a water bed before which had gotten quite old and soft. There was no odor and it opened to it's size in just a few hours.

These mattresses are just great for the price. Couldn't be more comfortable. No complaints from anyone so far. Once you try the memory foam, you will never go back to a conventional mattress!! Never had any problem with odors. The mattresses expanded to full size within a few hours. I bought the breathable, water proof mattress covers to preserve these mattresses as long as possible. Great products!

Easy to assemble, the quality of this to my old set was a big difference. With the extra foam on top we don't even need to use the electricity to keep heated. I bought a king and queen set at the same time. Great price, quality and easy to assemble. The bed is so much higher but only compliments both bedrooms with the fullness. Thank you overstock! Absolutely love doing business with you!

A great mattress for the price. We were looking for something firm that we could put a memory foam topper on and this fit the bill. When it arrived and we unrolled it, there was a weird stain but it didn't smell like anything so I'm hoping it was just water or something. A pickier buyer might be more upset but since we were wrapping this thing up with a topper and mattress pad and then sheets, it didn't bother us.

Disclaimer: I am not some freaky "tried every mattress in the world" guy, nor am I accustomed to fancy mattresses. So maybe this mattress is not for every one, like the sensitive princess who can feel a pea under her bed. But, for me and my partner, it is the dreamiest thing to ever happen to us. It came crazy quick (I ordered Tuesday afternoon, it was here Friday morning). We switched the most horrible old lopsided mattress in the world, sleeping was a chore. This bed revolutionized our lives, and with the coupons easily findable with a google search, and some other Overstock discount, the bed was $320 shipped. Deal of a lifetime. The smell was present, like people say, but we actually liked it. It smelled like a mix of house paint and sugar. We did not air the mattress out, we slept on it the first night (slightly stiffer than it is now, three weeks later, but fine), and the smell took about 10 days to dissipate. Oh yeah, I spilled an entire cup of milky coffee on the bed, and a little water and oxy clean got the entire the stain out, like it is gone. And that weird material the bedcover is made of dries in about 20 minutes, after being soaked, freaky and cool. If you're poor, cheap, or unsure, this is the bed to get; Maybe even if you're rich, but I wouldn't know, I thought you guys slept on bags full of money and third world children's eyelashes. I researched beds and discounts for weeks, use my labor, don't redo it. Just get this bed, you'll love it. If you don't, you can come over and punch me in the mouth.

We bought this mattress last year and have been sleeping great on it ever since. There was initially a weird smell the first day it was airing out, but it was gone within 24 hours. Its definitely warmer than sleeping on a regular mattress (great in the winter, not so great in the summer). I was comfortable, my husband often got hot in the summer. Its held up well so far, though we do have a water-proof cover on it so nothing can absorb into the foam to destroy it. Very happy and we've had many good nights of sleep on it. Just purchased a second for the guest room.

We’ve had a water bed for the past 30 years. Lately it started to become uncomfortable and bother my back. We went to numerous stores to lay on Tempur pedic mattresses and other brands. We could not justify spending $3000 on a mattress that we might not like. It seemed like people either loved or hated these memory foam products. We were a bit apprehensive about purchasing online but the reviews of foam product were mostly positive. At a third of the price i figured we couldn't go wrong. We did look at other companies but there were some concerns about the foam being used and where the products were being made. Finally, we decided to buy it even because our bedroom is on the second floor and it would be impossible to bring up a regular king size bed. The bed comes in a VERY small box that required two people to lift but it could easily be pushed. We opened it up on the foundation as diagrammed in the instructions. It was quite cold but it still flattened out within about 2 hours. I have a sensitive nose and my wife even more so and we noticed essentially NO smell which we were prepared for based on other reviews. We waited 2 days to sleep on it. Here is where we found the difference between our water bed and the Pillow Top 12-inch King size foam mattress. I found the mattress to be quite hard and honestly rather uncomfortable for the first week. The "sink" in feeling of the water beds just wasn’t there. My wife was starting to get frustrated and started to complain. She wanted another water bed. But day after day the foam mattress it got much more comfortable or we got used to it. We think we are going to keep it; beside my wife has stopped complaining!

Bought this three months ago and it has already given out. I wanted to make sure this mattress lasted so I put a protector to keep water off. Now, where I sleep I have to rolled up the mattress to stay on it because the mattress is so depressed where I have slept I will roll off the mattress. Where I haven't slept, the mattress feels like new. Yes, there is a ridge from where I have slept on it and where I haven't slept on it. Unbelievable this mattress is even for sale. All I can say is stay away from it and use your hard earned money on something else. I am now in the market for a new mattress. My 10 year old box spring mattress is way better than this mattress after three months. I was so exited when I purchased it and it seemed just fine when I received it.

We've been on this mattress for about three weeks. Followed the instructions, very little odor, but let it air for 2 days anyway, put an expensive water-wicking yet very soft protector around it, a quilted pad on it, and added good, all-cotton sheets. I'm 6'1", 185, and a side sleeper. We ordered the "soft" to accommodate my shoulders. It only works relatively well for that, but is extremely comfortable in contouring and supporting when on our backs. Heat disapation is only marginal. Compared to the 3" memory foam topper on our former mattress, this is definitely cooler, but not that much so. I'm beginning to believe that heat dispersal has more to do with what's closer to your skin (ie: the mattress pad) such as offered by Sleep Number. I think this mattress is far more comfortable than most innerspring mattresses, is an exceptionally good value for tight budgets or for guest rooms, and that's where this mattress is now going in our house. We've now purchased a king Sleep Number for our room.
