After a recent move, I spent a month on a futon mattress before my back decided it had had enough.I found this mattress to be a really good bargain: while it could have been a little firmer to my taste, it is quite thick and I sleep very well. There was no assembly required, just a bunch of bags to slice away with my scissors, and if I decided not to sleep on it the first night, my cat did and loved it! Good points: a very good sleep; while it's soft, it doesn't make you feel too warm and I don't sink into it. Bad point: I never want to get up in the mornings anymore!

It was really wierd when this mattress came all rolled up in a box, but don't fret because it is just vacuum sealed in a large bag... no assembly required. So when you open it, it kinda "inflates" to a regular mattress. And I love it! It's a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. Definitly one of my most successful online purchases! :)

The bed is beautiful. It has a very tall head board. The assembly was difficult. Between myself and my brother (two handy engineers) we had to put a lot of time put in the screws. The assembly does not blend itself to power tools. The screws go into slots and an allen wrench is provided. The slot is so small that their Allen Wrench has difficult time fitting, so it is almost impossible not to scratch the bed interior during the assembly (okay it won't be seen) If you are used to IKEA assembly stay away from this product. Schedule a good 1/2 to full day for assembly. Assembly definitely requires two people The bed is nice looking, and it definitely needs a box spring as it is advertised (some comments say it doesn't need box spring, but if you don't put it in the head board would have a whole where your pillows go).

After searching and comparing rollaway beds for months, I purchased two of these beds for a "girls weekend" at my house. Great news: NO assembly required! I like the wider mattress, I think it will sleep much more comfortably. It is high enough off the floor and appears to be very sturdy. When folded up, it takes up a minimum of space, considering how wide it is. I did buy a memory foam mattress topper to put on top of the mattress that came with it to ensure my guests will be comfortable. So far I am very pleased with the purchase -- we will see what my friends think!

Very comfortable bed with a thick mattress that only requires a platform bed frame for support. Though the mattress is large and heavy when shipped, two females were able to move/assemble this mattress very easily!

I had read the other reviews prior to making my purchase, which meant that I wasn't surprised when my mattress arrived in three separate boxes and required a bit of "assembly" (placing layers of foam on top of one another counts as assembly, I suppose). Luckily, you are also reading reviews and won't be surprised either. ) There were a couple of things that I was most curious about when I made my purchase; you may be interested in the answers to these questions also A) It's an RV mattress. Will it look ok on my non-RV bed? ---- I have one of those platform type bed frames, and the mattress fits perfectly into the platform area with about 4 inches exposed at the top (as it should), which means that you can't even tell that it's made of three separate pieces. If I had a more traditional bed frame, it might look a bit awkward, but I imagine that with a bit of time you could get the pieces to align in such a way that it wouldn't be obvious. This mattress did come with a cover that is meant to fit over the top in the same way that a fitted sheet does, and perhaps that would have made the separate pieces look more uniform. However, the cover that I received didn't actually fit on my mattress. I have plans to go purchase one that fits (it's just more hygienic, peeps), but I haven't gotten around to that yet. B) One of the reviews says that the mattress is a pain to assemble. I don't want to deal with something annoying. ---- I can't understand how anyone would say that. I literally opened the boxes, cut open the vacuum-packed plastic so that the foam would spring up, and laid the pieces on top of each other. As I mentioned earlier, I didn't devote a lot of energy to making sure that all the pieces were perfectly aligned, but even if I had, I imagine that it would have taken a whole 5 or 10 minutes. Rest assured, this will be an easy process. C) Is it comfortable? ---- Ah, the most important question of all. The answer, I am very happy to report, is an emphatic YES. Absolutely. It's amazing. Bottom line For a couple hundred bucks, I can GUARANTEE that you will not find a more comfortable mattress. )

This pillow top innerspring mattress is well worth the price, and the quality and comfort is superb. Came vacuum-packed on wheels which made it easy to move to the desired location. No assembly required.

Numerous reviewers noted the firmness of this mattress, and that has always seemed so hard to come by in a mattress. So I gave this one a go in a queen size. Very nice and firm! Hallelujah! It arrived (67 lbs.) well packaged with the mattress/zippered cover assembly in a sealed thin plastic bag; this was vacuum reduced and rolled into a thick plastic tube; this was sealed in a blue rip resistant material; this was sealed in a second outer blue rip resistant material. No transportation tears made it past that outer blue layer. Inflation took about one hour to reach 9+ inches; it was at 9.75 inches after 12 hours. I then tried to cover it with a new fitted sheet and to do so required that the mattress recompress at the corners a bit. I think this is because the mattress measures 1.25 inches wider AND longer than 80 x 60; yes, it is 81.25 x 61.25. But it fits nice and snug into my new platform frame, so everything seems to work out in the end. Odor was noticeable for about the first hour, then totally dissipated.
