Look awesome Our house was built in 1970 and offered solid wood paneled doors throughout. After reading the review, I was a little afraid since many people said they had to readjust, chip areas to make all the parts fit their doors. Out of 17 doors, my husband only had to fuss with 2 doors. These worked out great. We painted the doors and trim a crisp, semi-gloss white. With these knobs and our colored walls it has made a HUGE difference in our house for little time, effort and expense. Month or so later and I can hear the 'inner workings' when you turn the knob on the locked sets. Sounds like a spring moving. We'll see if it stops from use. Not too loud or bothersome.

Did not fit The product looks nice and the handle fit our standard door, however, the door latch did not. So, we had to return these to overstock and ended up buying knobs at our local hardware store which did fit perfectly. Overstock handled the return very well.

Easy to install and looks and works as expected What can I say? These are door knobs, and they function as door knobs should. They don't look cheap or expensive, but they are an upgrade from the mis-matched metal ones that were throughout the 1930's house we bought last year. I also like the modern look that it gives, and it coordinates well with our generally black-and-white color scheme. They were not difficult to install, and I did it myself with a few pointers from Youtube. The first were more time consuming, but now that I have the method down, I can do it in 10 minutes or less.
