I purchased two of these runners for my hallway. Although I really like the look of them- the print and color is really nice-- the weave itself is incredibly uncomfortable on bare feet. The rugs were very thin, more like mats- and are a coarse weave (probably great on a porch). Since these were being used in the main areas of my home, and we don't wear shoes in the house, I ended up finding a cushier replacement for them.
I bought this rug purely for the design and to be the 'carpet protector' for the long stretch of hallway that we have right as you enter the door. It will serve its purpose and I do love this particular chrysanthemum (as there are many). It's decent for the price, how this rug could have EVER been priced higher I have nooo idea. It's very thin, not soft or necessarily pleasant to walk on --and it is rather sloppy because I can see blotches of glue where the ends of the rug are folded in. This was also shipped in shrink wrapped clear plastic, which was torn a bit but no harm done. Overall I am happy but I do recognize the lack in quality.
This is a very interesting rug with lots of texture and everyone loves it in my entryway. I might get another one for a different area. Its a bit more on the yellow side of beige that the picture but a very nice rug and big enough to make a statement.
