Martel Black Convertible Petite Gel Fuel Fireplace

I love this fireplace. I wasn't sure how we'd like the gel approach, but we didn't want to deal with the hassle and expense of installing a vent for gas. With at least two cans in the fireplace near each other, it looks like a normal fire. I like it about as much as gas-- the drawback is that it's not as warm. The plus is that the cans crackle like a real fire, which I dig. There is a log you put in front of the cans to screen them visually. It could be a bit better shaped to fully screen the cans, but with the little safety screen pulled across the front and the fire lit, you don't notice them.
