I used this rod to extend wall-to-wall in my bedroom using the 108" blackout curtains from overstock. I placed the rod as close to the ceiling as possible and used the round wood clip rings to hang the curtains. My room looks FANTASTIC! I wish I could post a photo here. My rod is almost fully expanded with 4 heavy panels attached and I have no sagging whatsoever with the 3 brackets provided. This rod is heavy, so you have to either secure to stud/header, or use the plastic wall inserts if attaching to drywall. This rod is super firm. If you have sagging, it is not attached to the wall properly. The 3 brackets are very heavy duty and do the job nicely if you install them properly.There is no way I could find such a bargain on such a high quality curtain rod at such a great price.

This rod is good on looks and construction. There are two reasons for 4 stars: needing the full width of the rod, it did require an additional support and, because we needed the full 144 in., we found that it does not extend a full 144 inside the brackets. The full measurements must be from tip to tip. We had to use a piece of pipe to extend it in the middle in order to completely cover the window. This probably won't be a problem for everyone, but it was something we didn't consider when ordering.

This rod was exceptionally made. High quality and very heavy. A rod of that size would be close to $80 anywhere else, but was only $**** on Overstock.com!!! I highly recommend. I put this rod in my Master Bedroom.

This is a very nice curtain rod.I have a very large window, 144 inches and it did not work for me.It bowed in the middle and was too short.My husband had to add a piece in the middle because we did not have time to send it back.It is a good looking rod and I wish it had worked to me without modification.I sti ll am recommending it because it is very good looking and would be better on a window that is not as large as mine.Another reviewer used it on a 144 inch window and had no problem.

Bought this to hold the "blackout" curtains after checking other reviews about how sturdy they were. It's true! Nice quality and a very nice bronze color. I like how the curtain rod holders can telescope out for a more customized fit. Used only the end holders for an 8 1/2 foot span and NO SAGGING in the middle! Even used the hardware the rod came with. Very easy to install for me! Looks like expensive Rod and finials!! I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Although the color of these rods wasn't a true match to the screen image the quality is definitely good. We were a little surprised to see a lighter/golden brown instead of the espresso brown we expected. However, the rods are a nice heavy weight and the hardware was solid. Instructions were also good. We were impressed with the packaging as well.

I am currently hanging 4 panels of very heavy microfiber like curtains on the rod, which is extended almost all the way out (my window measures 118 inches) and the rod is doing a great job! No complaints except when I inspected the rod upon opening, it was scratched, but that part is turned towards the wall so I kept it.

I have a very wide double window and wanted a sturdy curtain rod that would also look good. This finials on this curtain rod and the color met (and exceeded) the standards I was looking for.

This curtain rod can support heavy curtains and it looks expensive. I also bought the matching tie-backs...looks great.

Purchased this rod to hang linen curtains (also from Overstock) on for our master bedroom french doors. All of the glowing reviews were right, this is a great product. The extender rod in the middle really adds to the strength. We did use the middle support and have no issues with saging. The only issue we had at all was hanging it level, even the best built houses might not have perfectly square windows and trim! We found it was best to mount the middle bracket first and level the rod, then mount end brackets. It looks top-notch!

The quality of the curtain rod is good. However, I did not know that the curtain rod had to go through the attachments. It was very difficult to feed the curtain rod through them. I would have preferred just laying the rod on the attachments. Being that it is up, I will keep it that way until I have to take down the curtains to clean, then I will switch out the attachments.

Very nice rod. I used it to hang the Signature Beige Cotton/Silk curtain panels I purchased on this site. I also used the Kirch Regency Weathered Bronze decorative drapery rings and they are a perfect match. This combination gave me exactly the look I wanted for my living room. I used the full length of the rod and hung four drapery panels with a bit of weight to them on it and, with the center bracket in place, there is no sagging. I used stronger (the metal kind) drywall inserts because the curtains will be opened and closed frequently and I wanted to be sure they were extremely secure.

Very heavy, holds heavy curtains. Did not use full 144 inches so no comment on the "sagging" or "not long enough" remarks made by others. Needed different screws to mount. This rod does not lift out of the mounts, but slides into a ring for a mount. Read carefully. SLIDES IN. So, you have to have clearance on both sides of window to slide pole in and out of the rings. Again, does NOT sit on brackets it comes with, but slides in. PROBLEM in tight spots. Secondly, the middle mounting ring. It is a ring. It is in the middle. So, if you need three curtains (vs 2 or 4), this does not work because the support is in the middle and the pole SLIDES IN. (Curtain cannot slide through a hole, of course.)
