Marquis by Waterford 'Brookside' Old Fashioned Glasses (Set of 4)

These glasses are gorgeous. I use them all the time and am planning on getting the stemmed ones to make a complete set. I get many compliments on them and they are a beautiful additional to my kitchen. One cannot go wrong with these glasses!

I was looking for crystal glasses, and bought these because they said "by Waterford" and were really cheap. They are made of thick glass, and would make decent water glasses. But, they are (1) really big - way too big to make nice cocktail tumblers, and (2) not crystal. They are "cut" to look like crystal, but they are made out of glass. I gave them three stars because they are solid glasses. They are just not crystal. And, they are WAY too big.

The glasses are beautiful and we like the style & cut. The only thing is they are bigger than we wanted; it's too bad the ounces capacity or the description wasn't clearer about the size. Usually an "old fashioned' glass is single or double and these are clearly double. We are using them just the same - very good value.

Glasses were a great deal and a wonderful wedding present. They were larger than I thought. Beautiful glasses.
