Within a couple months use EVERY plate has chipped to the point it looks as though someone took a bite out of them. I wash them with dishes I have had for ten years and my old dishes look like new. Even the act of stacking them causes them to chip and break. 6 months later I am going to have to throw these away. Waste of money. Don't waste your money too!

One 8' plate had a small chip out of it and it was replaced to me with no questions asked. I love the set, they are so beautiful on my table, especially with my multi-colored Italian napkins.

Teal was the magic color for my kitchen. The dishes are study, but lightweight. It is an extra plus that the utensils add to the coloring of the dishes. The plates, bowls an coffee cups are normal size, not too big. If you like mug-like, large cups for coffee, this is not the set to buy. It is an inexpensive set which serves a purpose for your budget & pretty presentation. Yes, I can recommend this item.
The dishes and flatware looked nice on-line and I knew that for the price it wasn't going to be of excellent quality. However, the plates very easily chip and the flatware is flimsy and cheap. I don't like to eat on chipped plates and I like my forks and knives to be strong for cutting and eating; therefore off I went with a donation to a local charity of a full set of dishes. It's true that you get what you pay for.
