Nice looking, quality materials, but wont sit up.
Somehow I missed when reading the reviews, that the chair does not sit up at a 90% angle. This makes it uncomfortable when you wish to sit up. I am going to have to find some type of cushions that will compensate for the angle when I want to sit up. Speaking of cushions, you do need cushions, so don't think you could do without with these chairs. They are too hard to sit on without them. The chairs arrived with free shipping; which I thought was generous. Despite being wrapped well, one of the rails for support was broken. I suspect that it was broken before it was shipped, and it got past quality control. Because of the cost and hassle of returning it, we repaired it with glue and an extra screw. The chairs are lovely and are made of high quality hard woods. The stain is a lovely color. They look very classy. I would recommend them.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. One of the rails was broken despite being wrapped well. Other wise high quality wood and stain.
