I was initially impressed by the piece. It looks great and comes fully assembled (now for the but) but the trays are attached to the seat cushions with velcro which causes them to shift and the cushions are upholstered on particle board which have cracked on both pieces leaving it unstable and bascially useless except for storage. Since the piece appears to be seating, I was constanly embarrassed by having to tell guests not to sit on it. I finally moved it into a storage closet, definately not its intended use.

This is a great buy ! The bench has so many features and funtions. I love the color and quality. Don't let this one pass especially with the low price. Thanks big O for the great product.

Works beautifully as an ottoman and also as a coffee table. Having the option to flip the cusions over to set down a mug or glass etc. is great for entertaining or every day living. Cushy sides are great when you have a 2 year old running around! No danger of sharp corners or edges.

This was the first time I have used overstock.com I am so pleased with the quality of the ottoman and the delivery and service from overstock.

I initially submitted a review saying you're getting your bang for your buck...not the case at all. It is not sturdy at all. We set it aside until we were ready to use it. I wish we started to use it right away to realize how unsafe it is. My husband kneeled on it once to grab something off a table that was beside it and it completely caved in! Thank God he was able to catch himself! Had this been our little daughter, I don't know that she would not have gotten hurt. We didn't realize it was constructed out of particle board; so much for thinking it was sturdy. When we took it out of the box, we turned over the trays to see how nice it looked. However, when we turned them back over for the 'seating' look, we noticed the fabric on the storage part was already torn. So it did NOT slide back in easily. We had to keep our finger over it and try to slide that side first to prevent it from tearing further. We let that go but wish we hadn't. Save your money and pay the extra for a durable piece of furniture. DISAPPOINTED.

We bought this piece for our living room and it goes very nicely with our couch. It arrived on time and in about a week or less. It was in perfect condition when it arrived. The great thing about this is it can be used for seating, to put your feet up, or as a table. For large dinner parties it can be used as a second bench at our dining room table. We are very happy with this purchase!

This is a quality piece of furniture at an extremely affordable price. Was more than impressed with the quality and overall craftsmanship. Will serve just the purpose we were intending.

A great, high quality product. It is working well for our baby's toys and we don't worry about her hurting herself.

Although I used the given dimensions to estimate the area it would take up used as a coffee table/ottoman in our family room, because it is such a dark leather finish, it appears visually much smaller than it actually is. Due to this, it looks dwarfed in our family room next to a sofa, loveseat, and fireplace. The leather scratches VERY easily and I wasn't happy about that because right away I noticed a large scratch across one side near the bottom. The storage space inside is adequate, I would only caution that this looks very small given it's very dark finish.

This ottoman was exactly what I thought I was getting. Big, solid, nice-looking, and a perfect "toy box" for the living room. There was no assembly at all, and I was very pleased with the purchase.

We got 3 kids and junk is always lying around i.e. toys, pillows, books and misc. These have plenty of room to hold a lot of stuff and they even came pre-assembled. They look good and are pretty sturdy, had one for about a month and so far they have been holding up pretty good. Great value we ended up buy a total of 3.

My husband is not a fan of ordering big items online. He received the shipment and couldn't believe the quality of this ottoman for the price! It's not too heavy; it's easy to move around. I thought it might be a little bigger but it works out perfect since we didn't want it taking up too much space. It's the perfect size & height for storage (it's completely open underneath, no divider) and for our 9-month old daughter who's been cruising, standing. We find it perfectly safe for her. We are using this as our coffe table, but the shape & size of it will definitely allow us to use this as additional seating, esp since it's very sturdy. Plus, it looks great w/ our contemporary sectional. FYI - when you flip the top to use as trays, there is nothing securing it in place. Although it 'sticks' well due to the material.

I have ordered quite a few things from Overstock - most of which I've loved! This ottoman is just awesome. Looks beautiful, is functional, great quality, and is perfect for my daycare. This is a modern, functional, and very nice looking piece of furniture! The two tops come off and can be flipped over and used as trays and you have a wide open storage area underneath the tops. If you are looking for a storage ottoman, look no further! Great price, too!
