Bought this for my teenage daughter's room, and she loves it. Make-up station, small desk, good size. Nice distressed finish. Great mirror and even an outlet to plug in cords. Her room is girly-glitz industrial, but this would be equally at home in a traditional room or country atmosphere.

I ordered this for our new house and love it! I didn't want to have make up and curlers all over the place. Its nice to get up in the morning, and go to my vanity and do my face and hair. The plug is so perfect. I can plug in my hot curlers and have everything in my place. I love Overstock

I wanted to love this piece but it has major flaws. It's such a great concept but made poorly. First of all, there are several nicks in cabinet. It looks like the particle board it is made from chipped along the edges and they just put the finish on over the chips. But I'm not a perfectionist so I thought, I can live with that. But then the next problem I discovered was that the hinge for opening and closing the top is very stiff and after using it for several weeks, the hinge is frozen and the top won't close all the way which defeats the whole purpose. I guess I'm going to have to try to replace the hinge with a better made one so that it can easily open and close. It seems to me that for $300+ the quality should be better.

I now have a place to blow dry my hair (Plug is in the perfect place!). Every morning I kick back and put my make-up on, curl iron my hair and just reach for that perfect piece of jewelry (Perfect place to keep my jewelry). I love this addition to my bedroom (I use it for a pretty table with a vase on top--when not in use). If I were to say one thing that I would like changed... I would have liked for it to be a few inches taller... I am 5' 10 and have problems with counters etc. being a little short. Anyway... easy to fix. I just added a little height by tacking on little extender feet made out of antique iron... cute!Thanks Overstock... You find the perfect affordable items.. I saw this item several months ago while shopping... It was much too expensive. Your price is a couple hundred less!

The piece is well-made. It came fully assembled. All I had to do was screw on the feet. I would say the mirror is a little far away for putting on make-up, but it is a really nice piece of furniture!

Loved the vanity. Only the legs needed to be connected -unit shipped already together! One star was removed for small imperfection in the grain of the wood.
