Customer Reviews
I was just about to order an almost identical light fixture for more than twice this price. I decided to check here first and found this great value. The assembly was a bit challenging, but the reviews I read had prepared me. It took approximately four hours to get the wires complete and the rest was fairly easy. The quality and the value are worth the effort. Great addition to the dinning room, it added just the touch of sparkle we were looking for.
I was not hesitant to order this light fixture. I read all of the reviews on the product. I did the assembly work myself. At best, it took me a total of 2 hours to assemble. I am not an electrician. I did have an electrician install the fixture for me. This is absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend this purchase to anyone. It does not come with explicit directions for all of the lighting "jewlery". For me the picture was sufficient. I was able to navigate the assembly by looking at the picture. The electrical parts that needed to be assembled I did not have a problem with.Do not be afraid to order this product! You will be very pleased with the end result.I do have one small broken part and have sent an email to the service department to have this replaced.
I was hesitant to order this reading other reviews saying it took 6 hrs. to put together, but ordered it anyway because my fiance said he would help. It was overwhelming at first when you open the box, but it actually 2 hours the most. to put together, about 15 minutes all together to figure out what goes where. It took the most time to string all the pieces onto the main piece but it really wasn't too bad.As far as aesthetic goes, I can't say it looks cheap, but doesn't look "wow" either. But you get what you paid for. I have no idea what "crystal accent" means because we can't figure out if the pieces are made from glass or acrylic. The only real crystal part is the round ball that hangs on the bottom. All the other parts are made of either glass or acrylic?I like it because we didn't pay too much for it, but I def. wouldn't mind paying a few hundred more for a real crystal chandelier straight from a store and not have to piece it together myself.
Beautiful, elegant, great value and exactly what I was looking for. I bought two. It's quite substantial yet weighs less than 20 pounds. It comes unassembled in about 100 pieces with virtually no instructions and has to be wired. However, with the help of GOOGLE and the picture from Overstock, I was able to assemble it correctly the first time in 5 or 6 hours.
I did a TON of shopping around for a crystal chandelier for our living room. The workmanship of this piece is beyond incredible and the quality is spectacular. It came promptly, and though the packaging looked as though it had been sent from outer Mongolia ( a bit cheaply done), the fixture itself is superb. The directions are a JOKE....all they give you is a shoddy picture and a 4 step literature sheet for a chandelier that appears different then the one we purchased! It took my Hubby about 7 hours to put it together and hang. We recommend you hire a electrician to do so, as there is a lot of wire stripping and attaching and all that jazz in addition to assembling the thing entirely. It comes in a literally a hundred pieces. So buy yourself a Red Bull if you plan on doing it yourself! In closing, this was an amazing deal on a stunning crystal chandelier ( elsewhere you would pay a good $200 to $300 dollars more)...get yours before they are gone!
